"Excellent food and good service. Room 4 is a good size and well appointed. A/C heater works well. The bathroom/wet room was a little bit tired. Breakfast had a good choice and was cooked fresh. Location was convenient for driving. Would use again if in the area. "

"Quirky! Low ceilings, uneven floors, very old building. Landlord is friendly, as are the staff. Good breakfasts! Live music some evenings. Enjoyed the stay. Very convenient for visiting my mum!"

"Room was clean and King Size bed was comfortable. Water pressure in sink was slow until I worked out how to increase it. Full English breakfast was huge and one of the best I have had in any B & B or hotel. Located in a quiet rural village and convenient for Rutland Water."

"The external decor was very shabby and not a patch on the on line photo. The internal decor similarly. We were greeted by a cheerful member of staff and the room was clean, but in need of sprucing up. The window sash cord was broken, the carpet frayed and the shower door did not close.
