"Although we asked about a shuttle very early in the morning, we were not told that we could get a breakfast to take away. However, there was a very very nice and sweet young woman who was just getting the breakfast buffet ready at 5 am and she gave me a couple of bags to gather up some breakfast items to take with me. That was such a bonus for my husband and I. And we made it to the 5:08 shuttle in time. Note that you have to pay for the airport shuttle, but it’s worth it. Complimentary coffee...

"We absolutely loved the hotel! The Polish lady at the reception was absolutely lovely and helpful with the restaurant recommendation. We stayed in a Superior twin room and it was much bigger than we expected. The hotel is in a heart of Lillehammer so couldn’t ask for a better location. The breakfast was delicious, so much choice! Freshly made waffles are a must to try as they are absolutely delicious! Having an additional heater in a room was amazing as it was quite cold outside when we stayed....

"I have stayed here before. It’s really close and convenient for the station. It’s nice not to be in a big chain. The hotel is rather dated and tired, but the beds are comfortable, and it’s really clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good. As I said, I’ve stated before and would definitely stay again. "

"The Scandic Hamar is a very clean hotel and they offer a good breakfast buffet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. What was not so good was the staff and their attitude toward guests. They were not friendly, did not smile or offer a welcoming word. In most interactions, they seemed almost annoyed to be bothered by have to check in guests, answer questions or service the breakfast buffet. "We enjoyed our stay at Wood Hotel. The room was lovely and spacious. The view was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. We also dined at the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed that as well. Our only issue what that the shower drained very slowly. Since the shower was the same level as the floor, the water soon spread across the whole bathroom. We notified the front desk and I am sure the drain will be clear before the next guest. "

"On my visit to Norway I looked for a property close to where I was working. As a keen golfer I noticed the property advertised an on site golf course and driving range. This was the main reason I booked this hotel. I paid extra to fly my clubs over. To my surprise on arrival there was not a golf course in site or driving range. When I enquired about the facility’s I was told the nearest course was over 20 minutes away. This was really disappointing. The property didn’t have an electric charge point either. This has really put me off using hotels.com again now as I don’t know what to expect from the advertised rooms. The room didn’t look anything like the advertised room and it definitely wasn’t a queen bed. The room temperature couldn’t be adjusted and the room was very basic and not what I was expecting for the price I paid. "
