"Incredible stay, just a short coastal walk to Hermanus waterfront. Owners were amazing hosts, super helpful and fun! Nikki gave some excellent recommendations while Stefan served up amazing breakfasts. A brilliant tag team! Room was also lovely. Thank you for a memorable short visit!"

"Our room was beautiful with a spectacular view. The staff could not be more helpful. The shuttle bus was a bonus that we didn’t expect. The food was delicious. The only minor downside was the colour (grey) and size of the pool - although it was always spotlessly clean it appeared a bit murky. However, it wasn’t - it was just that it was painted grey. "

"Sadly there were two very big problems with Whale Rock. 1. It was about 200yds from a huge and filthy township. The approach was through this which was very frightening. We felt it dangerous to go out unless by car. 2. It is advertised as per person, so be careful when booking. We didn’t realise and were surprised when we were charged almost £200 a night, which is definitely way over the top for this place, which is not spectacular and so close to a township. "

"Baleia was easy to find as it was metres off the main road into Hermanus. Very secure parking and easy to access/exit on foot or by car. Characterful rooms - many set around a small courtyard with small pool. Host and staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Value for money. "

"This guesthouse is undoubtedly one of the best beach B&Bs I’ve ever visited. The decor is charming, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Its location is spectacular, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. The hosts were incredibly sweet, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding, and the view from the Oyster room was simply unbelievable. A perfect beachside retreat that I highly recommend!"
