Awesome Stay!
My husband and I stayed at Lydia Mountain Lodge in the Wild & Free Room. Everything was great from the beginning of our stay with Josh, dinner at Bear Appetite, to the scenic view of the mountains from our room. We are certain to return very soon!!!!!

What an amazing Stay
We had such an amazing stay at Lydia Mountain Lodge! We arrived after snow the day before and it was absolutely beautiful! After we checked in, we went to the common room and they built us a fire and brought us popcorn which was extremely thoughtful and nice! Amazing views and a comfortable room, we couldn't have asked for more! Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay, and we WILL be back!

Lovely relaxing weekend getaway
We just loved the lodge, such a beautiful design with wonderful charming details inside as well, loved the fireplace upper lobby to relax by the fire.
The staff was so friendly and helpful getting a fire started for us. The restaurant was great and the staff very friendly as well. The porch hammocks and view was also just great! The room decor and detail was adorable, we just loved the theme. The memory foam mattress was a little firm for our taste but overall really just an amazing time and cozy getaway to unwind and get away. I only didn't do 5 stars for guest service b/c sometimes staff were scarce, but we were there when it was slower/less full. I am sure if we really needed something urgent it would have been easy to find someone. We will surely be back again!

Need better lighting in the bathroom, very difficult to apply make-up because of low light.

Wonderful stay in a gorgous setting
I love this Lodge. We celebrated our 27th anniversary by watching the sunrise from our balcony. The room did not disappoint, it was romantic and well-appointed. Joshua at the front desk suggested the Layfatte Inn for a special dinner and a few vineyards. The Bear Appetite had the best breakfast (Literally the best bacon I have ever eaten.) and a solid dinner with an amazing view. Even though it was March and still a bit chilly, we were able to sit outdoors thanks to the heaters. The property is a work in progress in the best possible way. The personal touches of the builder (who was also our waiter one evening) are all around and ingenious. I feel like we got in on the ground floor of something incredible.
