"Great modern building with spacious rooms. The bathroom was luxurious - featuring a bathtub and separate shower. The soaps smelled wonderful Also - nods to the bands New Order and Joy Division throughout the property "

"I grew up in Leeds, and at the time, 70 or so years ago, The Queens was regarded as the tops. I feared that my childhood memories might be disappointed, but not so. My wife and I found it to be one of the best hotels in our long experience. Service was superb, the overall ambience excellent and the food in the restaurant faultless."

"Good breakfast and comfortable rooms, however they are starting to look a bit dated. Wasn’t too impacted by the location/road noise, despite it being so central. Very convenient for transport links. "

"We arrived far too early for check in but the staff still tried to find us a room. This wasn’t necessary as we were planning to explore the city. But as soon as we arrived the lobby, reception, and restaurant were all very well maintained and decorated charmingly for the Christmas period. Our room was spacious and comfy with tea, coffee, snacks and quality shower products provided. We ended up having our evening meal in the restaurant and both the service and food were great. Breakfast wasn’t quite so good due to the volume of guests waiting for hot food. Nether the less, the food on offer was still tasty. So overall we had a great trip, just a shame about the Manchester weather. "
