"I very much enjoyed this vacation rental! It had every amenity I needed; the hosts thought of everything. Location was excellent; two bus stops very near and only half a block to the Rhine River, the wine kiosk at the harbor, restaurants and ice cream kiosks. It’s a wonderful place to walk along the Rhine."

"Unterkunft wunderschön, sauber, Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Dachterrasse ist toll zum entspannen zwischendurch. Die Lage top, mitten in der Altstadt unweit der Seilbahn und Drosselgasse, dennoch ruhig. Idealer Startpunkt zum Weinbergwandern, zu Denkmälern und Burgruinen, Klöstern oder für eine Schifffahrt auf dem Rhein. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"When we signed up to rent this flat we were unsure from the photos what it would be like. It is very bright and spacious. Two sofas fold down into large comfortable beds and linens are provided (fitted sheet, duvet and cover, pillows and pillowcases) to make the beds up. "The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."

"The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags.
