"Our parking was a garage @ 15€ per night. The free parking could be difficult. The hotel is well situated to the old town. Good restaurants and an interesting city. Our bedroom was tired and had no extra facilities such as a kettle and the bathroom was small. Breakfast was good and meet the needs. Staff were very helpful. "

On arrival access was problematic and achieved only with the help of another visitor. "I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter. We originally booked it for one night only, but due to changing family circumstances she had to add another night. She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "Lovely, quirky hotel right in the middle of the city so very convenient for everything. The receptionists were excellent, so bright and helpful. Particularly helped with the parking as it’s quite tricky when the small car park is busy. "We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. A very special place, very special people, and surely one of the one of the loveliest hotels in the area."

Relaxing stay near Brantôme

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in this lovely gîte. Sandra and Alun gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful on where to visit and recommendations on where to eat. The accommodation is very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by and using the pool. We particularly enjoyed exploring Brantôme, Périgueux, Bourdeilles, the caves at Villars and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this gîte and would stay here again. Peace and tranquility

"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "

Beautiful Rural Retreat

"Had a wonderful week here in Perigord Vert. We enjoyed the local scenery, villages and attractions. Cathy was a wonderful host - thank you for the lovely food gifts and the beekeeping lesson! So interesting. Would recommend to larger groups and families - everything perfect and lots of space and lots of bathrooms and showers!"
