Your home away from home awaits you here on beautiful Saint Simons Island Ga. Welcome to Shipwatch, a family friendly complex right on the beach where this condo will have all of the necessities for a perfect beach vacation. There is some excellent restaurants within walking distance or you can prepare your own meals in the full kitchen. Supplied with the condo is 2 beach cruiser bikes, some beach chairs, beach towels, a few beach toys, and a cart to haul everything down there and back. The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed and other bedroom has 2 twins. Government per diem's accepted depending on length of stay.

The Spring Getaway

Baseball at the beach
Overall it's a great condo! Nothing over the top and easy access to all parts of St. Simmons. Yes it's a little bit of a walk to the beach from the condo, but its a very easy walk with private access. We came for a baseball tournament and it was perfect since we were in and out of the condo a lot between games and spending time with the baseball families.

Great time in St. Simons
Ben's property was great - super close to the beach and wonderfully clean. The beach cruiser bikes and cart to bring things out to beach were a great touch, and the condo itself had everything we needed to enjoy the time there. We'd definitely come back again.

This was a last minute trip. We enjoyed the condo it was everything we needed. And being able to bring our dog with us was a great plus.

Lovely stay, best complex in SSI
We had a wonderful stay at Shipwatch. The condo was just perfect for our needs. The host was responsive and polite, though we didn’t end up ever needing him because the condo was so well-provisioned. Thank you!

Everything at the property was great and better than expected when we booked very last-minute. Ben was very communicative and accommodating. Loved the pool and short walk to the beach. Happy we could bring our dog for mornings and evenings on the beach too! Our stay was too short to use the bikes but appreciated they were available. Would definitely stay here again!

The Property was exactly as described. It was the perfect size for my mom, Sister, and dog. Ben had everything we needed for the beach, including chairs, boogie boards, bikes, and a great cart to get it down to the beach.

Great little condo
Condo was clean, well-stocked and close to beach. When A/C quit working, Ben was on it same day and was readily available if needed. I would stay here again and would recommend it, especially if you have a furry baby with you. Having the 2 bikes was a bonus as we enjoyed riding on the bike paths around the island.

Nice condo and location. Beach is a bit of a walk though the dunes. Dogs loved the large field behind the condos to run and play. We will definitely be returning. Host, Ben very attentive to our needs. Even texted that we could check in a little earlier. Would rent this condo again.

The property was very nice and in a great location to the beach. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced and the guest shower curtain had seen better days. Other than that, the overall experience was very nice. The grounds were beautiful! We will be back.

Quiet Getaway
Property is a little older and in need of some repairs around the complex. Overall a great experience. The location of the condo gave access to many restaurants and shops. Ben was quick to repond to any concerns sent to him. The elevator was a nice addition to getting our luggage up 3 flights.

Nice quiet place
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The complex is really quiet and the pool was never crowded. The walk to the ocean is on a. Ery nice boardwalk and takes less than 5 minutes. The owner answered all my questions in a very timely manner. As a couple other reviews mentioned that deadbolt is hard to work, but other than that, everything else was good. We really enjoyed our vacation overall. Thanks!!

Space worked out perfectly for our family of 5, and nicely decorated. Property owner was very responsive to questions. It’s a longer walk out to beach than we expected so the beach wagon that was provided was a necessity! Available kid toys, chairs and umbrella cut down on the stuff we needed to bring in car (no bucket for beach if your kids like to build sand castles, bring one and all the boogie boards are broken so bring those too!). Thanks for a great beach trip and loved the pool was open too!

Very comfortable condo. Plenty of room for four adults and 2 dogs. Nicely decorated. Balcony with table. Great view of the ocean from the deck of the building (not from the condo). Path to the wide, wonderful beach with gorgeous, golden sunsets. Plenty of parking on Veterans Day weekend. Peaceful, quiet. You could hear the waves.! Great location. Property manager and owner were outstanding! Extremely helpful!

Great condo on the beach
Beautiful third floor condo with everything you need for a perfect beach vacation. The beds we’re comfortable, the location was gorgeous and the restaurants around were amazing. The elevator made loading and unloading a breeze, the pool was big enough to not feel crowded, the kitchen was well stocked and the parking was fair. I have a Ram 1500 and it was a tight squeeze into the garage so I parked in the lot inside the automated gate. We love SSI and will definitely be back. Hopefully this exact unit is available again when we come!

A little gem
Great little spot for my daughter and I to enjoy spring break. It is definitely an older building and there are many places that are far more updated but it was comfortable and had what we needed for a 5 day stay. It is very easy to walk/bike to restaurants, coffee shops and the pier area. it is quiet and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed having access to beach chairs so we did not have to bring them. Also enjoyed that there are some paper products even though I always come prepared. Easy to just enjoy a vacation here!

Excellent beach stay!
First of all Ben is the host with the most! He was very understanding when circumstances required some changes in our reservation. He was easy to contact for any issue! However, the property was so well cared for and easy to access there were No issues! We enjoyed the location (we brought our dog who loved the beach access), the pool, the comfort of the condo and the close proximity to the Village for excellent entertainment and dining. We will definitely stay again and recommend Ben’s VRBO to others looking to visit SSI!

Perfect experience
We can't wait to return to this gem. Ben was wonderful to work with and so laid back. He worked around our schedules and even left us a sweet wedding gift as we used this condo during our wedding/honeymoon on the beach. The location couldn't have been better and the bikes gave us great access to shops/restaurants without having to constantly get in our car. The décor is adorable and had everything we needed, plus it was extremely clean. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our special week. We will be back and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
