Great small hotel
Both the room and bathroom were spacious and nice. The bathroom looked newly renovated. The breakfast was beautiful. Staff was very helpful. The grounds with out door patio and pool area were beautiful too. Hotel was within walking distance to restaurants.

Positives: nice pool and outdoor patio. Two minute walk to the old town. Negatives: Restaurant was closed for the season (It was indicated on Expedia to be open until the end of September). Room and washroom seemed worn, and could use some minor maintenance.

I would have given this hotel a higher rating except for one thing. We bought two sandwiches locally for a light lunch and brought them back to eat at the many tables set up outside for breakfast. No one was around, the weather was pleasant and we started to eat. The owner came out and told us not "pic-nicking was not allowed" but that she would permit us to finish. This was extremely embarrassing and rather uncalled for. Only afterwards did I notice that she also had a No eating/No drinking sign in our room. Really!!??

Great location, felt like a dorm room
Location of this hotel is great- an easy walk into the town of St. Remy, with lots of restaurants and shopping in this gem of a town. The grounds of this hotel were great also- swimming pool, tables and chairs outside perfect for reading under the big beautiful trees, etc. This hotel is really more like a bed & breakfast- the owners live on the property, and it's a little weird walking by their living room where they watch tv as you walk by. The property is dark, and locks up and is dead quiet at 9 pm, and every dated in decor. The room was cheap and ugly- chipboard headboard and tables, and hairdryer contraption was from the 70's. It felt like an old college dorm. Weirdest of all were the rules- there were signs for no food/drink in the rooms- very strange in wine country! There is no fridge, so all the cheese, etc I bought went bad. There are other rules posted everywhere else. Room was very clean, but shabby and ugly. Wifi worked ok, but I had to keep signing in multiple times as it kicks you off. Breakfast (extra $) is just ok- breads, ham, cheese, yogurt, etc- and you help yourself. We skipped it the last day and were reprimanded by staff. All in all, it was ok- but it needs a major renovation and having to tiptoe around was very awkward. Didn't feel like a hotel. Would not stay here again.

Not pleasant
The room has poor heating and very cheap furniture that is falling apart. The manager takes no responsibility and blames the guest.

Great location for exploring St Remy and the surrounding region. Friendly staff and above average breakfast (at a reasonable surcharge). Relatively small and simple rooms.

Lovely family run hotel in St. Remy
A lovely small hotel in an old home just outside the ring road in St.Remy. Beautiful pool and grounds. We had an excellent and well priced dinner at the hotel as well, tasty and a good value. Owner speaks excellent English. It was a nice home base for visits in the area (we had a rental car) including Marseille which is under an hour drive. Only downside is breakfast is 12 euro and they do not permit outside food. Very nice overall and we recommend a stay!

Best Dinner in France
My husband and I enjoyed three nights . The location is wonderful and within easy walking distance to the main shopping area of St Remy. The room even though it was on the small side was very comfortable. We enjoyed Brealfast there each morning but the best thing we decided to do was have Dinner in the Hotel cooked by the host. The food was divine and it was the best food we ate in all of France. Frederique the host spoke English, which always helps and she was very helpful, happy and such a delight . We thoroughly recommend the Hotel as a place to stay.

Exceptional Service
The innkeeper provided outstanding service and went our of her way to help us with a billing issue we had with our hotel in Paris (it was corrected quickly). The location is absolutely perfect; the rooms are clean and well appointed; breakfast room is charming and food very good; we had dinner in the garden one evening and the dinner was superb! We recommend this inn wholeheartedly, and would happily stay there again!

Excellent choice in St. Remy
Stayed here during a driving tour of Provence. Enjoyed the tow a great deal and this hotel was among the best of our trip. The owners are very helpful and communicated very well well us in English - which is good since my French is nonexistent. The room we had was very spacious and the pool was a nice addition after a hot day of touring the area. The central part of St. Remy is a 5 minute walk away. He hotel is very clean and there was little noise within the hotel. Shower wS a bit small for my big frame, but that's not unusual on Europe. Very effective wifi. Highly recommended property to stay in.

Nice hotel, well located for St. Remy
Lovley hotel, with a great pool and friendly service. this property is small, so the owners have time to spend with you during breakfast etc. The hotel serves dinner, for a reasonable price in the garden of the property. Breakfast was nice, could do with a few more options. Rooms are simple but functional, bathrooms could do with a bit of a renovation.

Nice hotel close to everything.
We enjoyed our stay at Hostellierie Le Chalet Fleuri in St. Remy-de-Provence. The host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating, with lots of information on hand to share. It has a small, comfortable ambience and we felt very safe in the enclosed parking area of the hotel. It was a bit late in the year for the pool, but the outside is beautiful and offers areas to sit and enjoy a drink or just some fresh air. The rooms were adequate and clean, the bathroom very small, but we weren't in the room much, so it was quite manageable. The location is excellent and a good central location to day trip to many parts of Provence. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again.

Nice hotel
The Chalet Fleuri is a short 5 minute walk from the heart of St. Remy, yet miles away from the noise and commotion. Relaxing with a glass of wine in the garden is a real treat after a long day of touring the area. The weather was a little chilly to use the pool, but it looked lovely. Huberg (excuse me if I spelled that incorrectly) was a lovely host and always helpful with directions and information about the area. The dining area for breakfast was beautifully decorated, and the breakfast good. The rooms, although comfortable enough and clean, are in need of some updating. It was wonderful to have a secure place to park the car away from the street. The gates are locked at night and the guests are given a key – so no need to worry if you stay out late. You do need to know before you get there that the entrance to the parking lot is on an angle, and you cannot make a right turn to get into it. Depending from which direction you arrive, you may have to drive past, turn around, and go back to enter. We did not realize until our last day that there is a very nice patisserie a couple of doors down as you are heading out of town – yummy pastries and beautiful desserts.

Mixed opinions
The host and hostess were very pleasant. The hotel was easy to find. The room was adequate, but with the description Double Queen Superior we were expecting a more luxurious room. We realised, after we arrived that the description referred to the size of the bed. The pool was a little small, it would have been good to have a larger one as there certainly seemed to be sufficient room in the grounds. It was pleasantly peaceful round the pool however. We liked the small out door tables where you could east your breakfast.

Great service and great position, nice and close to town. Fairly small shower like most B&B's in Europe. And probably about time for a new bed but all in all a pleasing stay..

Great hotel for travellers on a budget.
Great hotel for travellers on a budget. Our room had everything we needed. Its a few minutes walk from the centre of St Remy de Provence and offers free parking within the grounds. The buffet breakfast a typical continental style. The hotel staff offer an excellent service and gave us a pre-printed list of hints and tips for sightseeing. I was also able to borrow a UK electric appliance adaptor!
