Looking to unwind and relax in a luxurious home just minutes away from the beach? Come stay where the mermaids lounge in this professionally decorated 3 bed/2 bath pool home. This mer-mazing home is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, or weekend away with some close friends. Enjoy a glass of wine by the pool, or lounge with your mer-friends on the sofa and kick your tails up and watch a movie on the big screen! This home has a beautiful open floor kitchen and living area concept, and three bedrooms with big comfy beds you won’t want to get out of. The mermaids lounge wouldn’t be a place for mermaids if it weren’t within minutes of some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. Enjoy the beach nightlife in St.Petersburg or Clearwater, or enjoy a more laid-back vibe along Indian Shores. Whether you’re here to enjoy lounging in luxury or making memories with the mermaids, mermaid lounge is the place for you!

The Patio features a 50" smart tv, barbeque, 2 loungers, dining table and comfy sectional couch.

Essentials: Bathrooms fully stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash, Hair Dryer, Fluffy white towels, hand towels, wash cloths and bath mats. Beach chairs, cooler and umbrella are available for use. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal.

Pool Heat: Pool heat is an additional charge of $25 per day. The pool heater will be turned on and set to 85. However, if air temp drops below 70 degrees, it can affect the pool temp, so unfortunately pool temperatures cannot be guaranteed.

Pets: We are pet friendly (Dogs Only) Bring your fur baby for a relaxing vacation! Maximum 2 dogs only for $250 fee per stay.

In the event of cancellation, Travel Insurance, Damage Protection and any processing or administrative fees are non-refundable.

Perfect for a party of six. Nice clean home with all the amenities you need provided. Very clean although pool area and overhead screens could use more attention. Also sliding doors to pool are hard to open and close and need replaced. We survived hurricane helene and lost power Thursday night through checkout on Saturday so that was a challenge. Overall great stay. Recommended!

Great house, great location
This house was great, exactly as pictured and very clean and well maintained. The location is awesome, less than 2 miles to the beach, restaurants, gym and grocery store. The check-in process and communication during our 6 week stay was very good! Highly recommend this rental property!

Very nice place to stay
Had a great week. Definitely need a car to get around and get to the beach. Pool was nice and if we weren't at the beach we were hanging at the pool. Not easy to find something reasonably priced with 2 king beds, pool, close to the beach, and easy driving distance to parks in Orlando. This place hit all those requirements!

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It had every single thing you needed. Super close to the beach, restaurants. Check in/out was seamless & it was super clean on arrival. There was an incoming hurricane and they immediately reached out to us & communicated the whole time & made sure we were ok. The most amazing host we’ve ever had! So happy we stayed at the Mermaid Inn ☺️

Wonderful Mermaid house
The house was beautiful, super clean and had all the amenities needed for our weekend stay with our teenage boys. Loved the pool and spacious kitchen and easy access to lots of great restaurants and the beaches were simply gorgeous and a few minute drive. It was a short 30 min drive to St Pete as well where we met friends for dinner. The host was awesome and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was good with our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us at the lovely mermaid house! We will be back.

Friends getaway
Had an amazing getaway at the Mermaid with 3 adult couples and longtime friends. The perfect relaxing retreat to escape, unwind and visit while still being close enough to take in the beautiful surrounding Indian Rocks Beach area! Heather could not be a more accommodating host for an incredibly well appointed home! Such a welcome respite after a day of fun in the sun. We did not want to leave and would highly recommend- can't wait to return again and enjoy the Mermaid! 5 stars 🌟

Wonderful Florida Vacation
Wonderful stay. Location was minutes from the beach. We really enjoyed Indian Shores Beach, it was less busy and the water was shallow enough for my toddler to stand. Close to many popular beaches and fun places to eat. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. Heather (property manager) was amazing. I have stayed at a lot of vacation properties, she was top notch and had excellent communication. We were traveling with our 1 yo and she made our arrival very smooth and was able to help accommodate our needs. Highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay in this area.

Not bad could have been better
The location is perfect, the inside of the house was very clean, the outside and the lani was less than desirable. The pictures were very deceiving. The pool area was filthy we spent an entire morning trying to clean it. The top of the screen in lani was literally covered with debris I’m convinced hasn’t been cleaned in sometime. If you don’t plan on spending much time around the pool it’s a great place to stay. We did not let it ruin our vacation.

Awesome house and location!
The house is in a great location, nicely furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. It is located within a short drive to grocery stores, beaches and restaurants. On the day that we didn't go to the beach, we just hung out by the pool. We had 5 in our group and the house was perfect for us. Heather was great and checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was good. She gave us some great restaurant recommendations and several places to see fireworks on the 4th. Our stay at the Mermaid house was awesome and we would definitely stay there again.

A Home Away From Home
My husband, myself, and our 3 boys (9,6,2) recently stayed at this location, and found it to be above and beyond our expectations. The host was very good about checking in and answering any questions. The home was very clean upon arrival, and had many conveniences that we enjoyed. There were adequate kitchen supplies so we could prepare a few meals. The decor is lovely! My kids enjoyed the pool very much. The house was a very comfortable layout for our family size, and it was toddler-friendly for the 2 year old. The location is great, as you are close to a grocery store or anything you may need. The beach in Indian Shores is about 5 minutes away by car or so, as well as many good restaurants. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. My toddler slept in the queen bed, but there are a pack-n-play and high chair, as well as kid-friendly dishes :) This was very family friendly overall, which makes a huge difference for us! I recommend the pool heat, as we stayed in late March, and the weather was between 70s-80s. The backyard is nicely shaded, so the pool heat helped! I highly recommend this location for familes!

Really awesome stay
As 2 colleagues of me and myself where heading to our SKO 2024 in Orlando we wanted to extend our business trip and stay a couple of days earlier in Florida. Last year we stayed in Ft. Lauderdale - this year we where thinking about Naples or Clearwater Beach. Finally we decided to stay at the Mermaid Lounge as it really looked nice and the distance to Orlando was quite less than from Naples. So everything went extremely well after we arrived at the house - Keypad an PIN worked at the first try. The house was very clean. We loved the kitchen, living room and bedrooms - really nothing to complain about. We were just wondering that the pool was not running - after texting Courtney we understood why. There were fixed times when it works - she extended the times the next morning - thanks a lot for that. The Pool was really nice, the outside lounge was also very nice - we stayed outside every day till late night. Even when the weather was not so good it was our evening place to go. We really loved this house and everything around. If you look for a quite neighborhood, supermarkets not too far away and short distance to beach and other attractions at the shores than this is a really great place to be! You have to go to Clearwater Beach, John‘s Pass Village, Madeira Beach, St. Petersburg and all over the Shores. Orlando is a 90 minutes drive where you can visit Disney, Universal and WWE - and a lot more. Thanks to our host Courtney who made this stay possible and so enjoyable for us!

Für den Titel "... Luxury ..." und das Verhältnis Preis vs. Leistung hätte ci mehr erwartet...
Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt, das "Häuschen" war ok. Häus, da wir in der Preisklasse schon grössere Häuser gemietet haben. ABER: es war sehr liebevoll und thematisch sehr passend (Mermaid) dekoriert. Und zur Begrüssung wurde noch etwas Süsses hingelegt - sehr zum Wohlgefallen unserer Kids! Grosse Minuspunkte waren: 1. Ringhörigkeit IM Haus, denn die drei Zimmer waren nebeneinander und die Wände schienen aus Pappe. Wir hatten extra ein 3-SZ-Haus gebucht, um meine Familie vor meinem Schnarchen zu verschonen - NIX GEWESEN 2. Ringhörigkeit VON AUSSEN: die Fenster und Schiebetüren stammen wie aus einer Urzeit. Hier hätte sich ein Investement in zeitgemässe Fenster definitiv gelohnt, nicht zuletzt auch aus Kosten/Ressourcenüberlegungen. Wenigstens ist die Lage nicht allzu laut - Tag & Nacht. 3. Die Schiebetüren zum Pool liessen sich nur sehr schwer öffnen/schliessen! 4. betr. Kommunikation haben wir schon Besseres erlebt. Einerseits kamen die Antworten nicht schnell, andererseits wurde nicht auf die Anliegen eingegangen, die obigen Hauptpunkte wurden nicht aufgenommen. Zum Schluss habe ich noch einige (kleinere) Punkte mitgeteilt, die es für den nächsten Gast zu lösen gilt. Eigentlich hatte ich auch lieber "Ferien im Luxus..." verbracht, als die Punkte zu rapportieren. Und der letzte Punkt geht an FeWo - direkt, so quasi: die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter über die verschiedenen Plattformen funktioniert nicht wirklich gut: definitiv verbesserungswürdig!
