This place has you only coming in from the back door. Of which doesn't work well. AC is bad so and only one tv. A rat ate the bagels left out in the kitchen. And the area will keep you up at night if you have kids. Can't prove it but I'm sure it's used for recording videos

Just Okay & Not Worth the Cost
First, another reviewer said this property was in a ghetto, but it's not. It's at the edge of a charming historic district. That being said the listing said this is a 3 BR 2 BA, but it is really one full bath with 2 half baths. It's also a duplex on a busy street, neither of which I recall being noted on the listing. I opted to sleep in a room with 2 single beds. One was under and AC vent, and the vent was filthy so and I decided not to have that blowing on me all night. The carpeting on the stairs look dirty. The carpet in the bedrooms also didn't feel clean. My biggest complaint was that the property owner was very unresponsive. The morning before our trip I had still not received access instructions so I messaged the host in the VRBO app. When I had not heard from them by mid afternoon I called VRBO and was advised to give them until noon on our arrival day and if no response they would put us in a different, comparable property. I didn't get instructions until around 11:00 am while we were driving to St. Pete. When we arrived it turns out that the access code was wrong and in fact the manufacturer of the lock was different than in the instructions. So I then tried calling, texting and messaging the owner through the app. It took about 10 mins for someone to text me with instructions to access a lockbox for the key. Thankfully the porch was covered as it was raining. I have stayed in a number of VRBOs and never had an experience like this. We paid over $500 for one night in this place, and between the dirty carpet and the stress caused us by poor communication with the owner I would advise looking elsewhere.

Not what you see
Walked there, the neighborhood was trashy, the lawn was way overgrown and we had to wade through weeds. Talked to the owner and asked for my cleaning deposit back. Told him to keep the money for the place but since we didn't use the place I would appreciate my money back for the deposits and cleaning fee. It says it's walking distance to downtown, that's if you want to walk through the ghetto. Hated the look of the place.

Great stay in St. Pete
We celebrated a bachelorette over the weekend and overall our stay was pretty great. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The only issue we ran into was that we were provided with the wrong code to the door so when we arrived, we could not access the home. It took us a bit to get into contact with the property owner but when we did, we were provided with the correct code. Nevertheless, great location and very spacious. Highly recommend!

House is not as it is listed.
We did not get the code to enter until around 2 pm on the day of check in and it was the wrong code. The house is a 2 story with all 3 bedrooms upstairs. The main floor was very clean but the carpets upstairs are filthy even though they were vacummed. The 1st night there we had a mouse in the house so we did not feel comfortable cooking. The house should not be used for a VRBO home until it has been fully exterminated and all points of entry sealed. This is my first bad review on VRBO but the reason we rent a home is to able to rest and relax in it. We were not able to in this house.

Great location, not great communication
Overall the location was spot on in relation to the pier, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The parking was an added bonus with it not being street parking and free. The house was clean, and had what we needed for a one night stay. The main issues we had was the communication leading up to it. I didn’t receive the address or check in information until 40 mins before checkin and I only received it because I reached out to them concerned that I hadn’t heard anything from them. Additionally, the code that was given was incorrect and so we waited outside in the heat for a good 20-30 mins before we heard back. For anyone who is a planner, this would probably be a stress inducing situation. Otherwise, it’s an older home, but worth the price for the the location.

A nice place for the price
If you're a clean freak like myself, it's definitely not the cleanest of places, it had a very strong smoke smell and there are some things falling apart but for the price of the property, it wasn't bad. It made for a good spring break stay for my friends and I. About 25 minutes from a good beach and super close to downtown/the pier.

Love St. Pete
Property was clean and as described. Only drawback was not receiving the access code until an hour before check-in. While I understand why, and there was ultimately no problem, it was stress inducing not having a code or being able to reach the host while traveling. This could be easily solved by noting in a earlier email (when the property address and other info are sent) that the code would only be sent an hour before check-in. In my prior experiences I've received the code closer to 24 hours in advance so I wasted several hours concerned and watching my phone rather than enjoying the short trip.

We had a great stay, cleaning ladies were very helpful as they were cleaning the other apartment often. The place was pretty central to everything we wanted to see. Pickle ball courts 5 blocks away and plenty of places to walk, eat and play!! Difinately will stay again.

Almost perfect for what we needed
It was a great stay and perfect for what we needed. We needed a place to sleep at night. Continent location, walking distance to a CVS for minor coffee and snack supplies. Family came into town for a wedding at the sunken gardens. So it was either uber from a hotel, or uber from our VRBO. This was a great location. Walkable to a neat craft beverage bar and excellent restaurant too. Not really walkable to downtown st.pete however. The only thing I wish it had more of, was extra blankets, paper towels, laundry detergent, and better internet.

Worst rental home I've stayed at.
Upon arrival we noticed this place was not very clean or maintained well. During our stay we found multiple cockroaches in the house and mouse droppings under the kitchen sink. We had to buy new kitchen utensils because the ones they had were dirty and were stored in very dirty drawers. To make things worse, someone entered the home while we were gone and left the back door unlocked. My family and I felt unsafe at this house because of it. We contacted the property management and they didn't seemed concerned about any of the problems. We had several other issues during our stay, loud neighbors partying untill 4am, internet stopped working, AC issues, eat. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This turned out to be a townhouse with the bedrooms and main bathroom upstairs. Had I known this I never would have rented this property. I have a handicap that makes it painful for me to do stairs. This was too much!

Fabulous location
I enjoyed staying here very much, we all did. The only thing I wish I had known is that there were no dressers and no hangers so being there for a five day stay with nowhere to put clothes was a little disappointing. Otherwise the neighborhood is great, the cleaning ladies are wonderful and friendly and the house was awesome

Nice place
Nice little place. Easy access to downtown St. Pete and many beaches. There's actually a double toilet bathroom upstairs that is quite convenient for a couple friends staying in separate rooms. Plenty of space and amenities.
