"The room was in the basement and the room had served as some sort of cellar or warehouse. We even had a well in the room (nowadays covered with glass). The problem was that the room was not well furnished: the closet was missing a door and in order to be comfortable the room would have required much more and better placed furniture. The hotel in general was very nice and comfortable."

"Beautiful little hotel on the edge of the old town close to everything but still quiet and charming. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. I checked in a little early and got a late check out for a very reasonable price. Great temperature control of the room with a view over the courtyard. Great value for the cost. "

"My partner and I have just left this hotel from a two week stay exploring the old town, and honestly we were really sad to leave! Overall, the hotel is a wonderful gem. It is very close to the port so if you wanted to hop on a ferry and go over to Helsinki, then it’s perfectly located. It is also very close to the old town, only a 10 minute walk if that, so perfect if you are wanting to explore that area. It’s quite modern and very clean. "This hotel is absolutely fabulous. We are a family traveling and this is a perfect spot. Hotel itself has so much character and unique architectural features. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was delightful and location is perfect to walk Old Town. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only catch- be aware there are some stairs and if mobility is an issue, let front desk know so they can assist you. "

"This hotel was perfect location less than 10 minute drive from the airport and a very short car ride to old town. We walked everyday to old town and it was a nice 20 minute walk with lots of places to stop if you need. There is a bus stop right out front and there is an easy location for Ubers to pick up. There is also scooters outside that are available to use. Amazing place. "

"An excellent location right in the heart of the old town. Check in was hassle free and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was tasty and good options. The only two issues I had with the hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the room which meant I had to attempt to sleep with the windows open which meant a considerable amount of noise from the street from bars and late night revellers. Had my stay been longer I would probably have requested a room elsewhere in the hotel. All in all...
