We are centrally located in the Fox Park neighborhood. Less than 10 min from downtown area attractions; great location for getting to major city sites easily by car. The area is a good mix of old classic brownstones and new development. There are a couple of great restaurants in the neighborhood but overall not many shops/restaurants within walking distance. Lots of free street parking out front so no worries there.

Yes! Our neighborhood is among the safest in St. Louis city (reference: Trulia crime stats). Please know that the area is safe and not near the areas (North and East St. Louis in particular) that you hear about in the news. That said, it is a city neighborhood, not gated suburb and you'll find a wonderful melting pot of old homes, new development and diverse neighbors.

Quick trip to the Zoo
We had a very comfortable & clean stay at Joes place! Easy to find & check in, the house is older but it was so charming & had modern touches that made it a fun experience. The king bed was SO comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to have a nice breakfast. We will definitely choose to stay here again we we visit St. Louis!

A wonderful stay in a good part of downtown St. Louis
We came to town for a concert and the location of the home was perfect to get downtown quickly. The property was extremely clean and well taken care of. I would definitely go back.

Weekend in St. Louis
Our family needed a place to relax and crash after exploring attractions in the city for a short stay. It worked perfect for that! It was close to downtown, very quiet at night. Beds were comfortable and our kids loved using the streaming services and game table.

Seniors get away
This is centrally, located to the Missouri Botanical, Garden‘s and several restaurants. It’s located in Fox Park historical District. The house is exactly as pictured and we felt very safe. The neighborhood is also very quiet.

The owner was gracious and easy to communicate with when he had to address a noise complaint about our kids. I might recommend older kids to stay here because the building is old and noise does carry. The apartment was so charming and cozy. Super comfy beds and loved the alexa devices in all the rooms. Historical neighborhood that was easy to get to.

This property was just as listed. A nice clean apartment in a safe location not far from downtown. No problem parking on the street right outside the front door. Joe was gracious and easy to contact. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a great stay! It was clean and aesthetic! The host was very kind and offered great complimentary items for the kitchen and every room. We also greatly appreciated the Alexa in the rooms. We did check in late at night and the GPS led us through an alley-so I would definitely not recommend checking in at midnight hahaha! But the stay was great! Thank you to the host!

Joe did a wonderful job of communicating with us. Check in was a breeze; he messaged us some local treasures; and was helpful with check out. The location was right in the middle of everything we needed and made commuting a breeze. The arcade machine was the biggest hit with our group!

Great space for a getaway!
My 3yr old son and I met my family for a last-minute weekday getaway as we all live within a couple of hours of STL. This was a great location close to the ballpark, zoo, Ikea, restaurants, etc. We were able to travel around, avoiding the highways which was a nice bonus! The place was very clean, comfortable, and large enough for us all to relax in our own spaces while still being able to hang out in the kitchen/living area. The neighborhood seemed very safe as we walked around a in the area in the morning. People were friendly and many places appear to being revitalized/remodeled.

Quaint and cozy home!
We loved our stay here! The beds were so comfortable. The house was very clean, charming, and cozy. It also had all the modern amenities we needed. The bedroom setup was perfect for our family of five. We did get a noise complaint due to our younger kids (ages 4, 5, and 8) in the morning. It was hard to keep them quiet until 10am, so this home may be more suitable for adults and/or families with older children. The location was convenient to all the sites we wanted to see. Communication with the host was super helpful and easy.

Amazing St. Louis Apartment
The apartment was great; parking was easy to find close to the apartment, and I even got to the house later at night—a lovely renovated older apartment with stunning exposed brick and modern amenities. Next time I come to St. Louis, this will be the first place I look to see if it is available. My daughter and I stayed busy each day we were there, and each time we came home, we wanted to spend more time apart. Joe was an excellent host, incredibly responsive to our minor issue (a neighbor's smoke alarm beeping from a dead battery), and provided recommendations of places to go. I can't recommend this place enough and the host enough.

Family time in St. Louis
On a longer trip to join a family reunion, I wanted to spend a day in St. Louis with my family, so I could take my children to the famous Gateway Arch. I wanted a comfortable place where my family could relax and have family time before and after our sightseeing. This location proved to be a very good place to accomplish our goals. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. In addition, the apartment was only a 10-minute drive from the Gateway Arch. The apartment was clean and attractively furnished. Communication with the property manager went well. If we're in St. Louis again, I would definitely stay at this location again if available.

Week long stay, no complaints. Comfy beds, well stocked, clean, responsive host. Agree on rough stairs access but the city in general is not well maintained so watch for the potholes outside.

Great location
We loved how central this was to everything downtown. It’s an older neighborhood but the space worked great for our needs. It definitely did get loud sometimes from the neighbors above and next door. The walls were thin enough I could often make out what they were saying to each other and could hear all of the footsteps, etc… so that’s good to keep in mind. The hosts were excellent.

Wonderful apartment
The apartment was perfect for our weekend stay. Plenty of room for our party of 5 with everything we needed and more. The entire unit was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee maker and cookware/appliances to make a simple breakfast. Bathroom had ample towels and offered soap/shampoo if needed. Bedrooms were quiet and beds were comfortable. The video game and streaming services were a definite plus! Overall, this was a delightful place to stay!
