"We had a very comfortable mini-break, looking for a seaside hotel with a bit of character, rather than anything bland and corporate. This fitted the bill very well. The rooms are large and understandably a little challenging to heat, but the staff managed well and we had a pleasant and very well-done evening meal on one of the nights. "

"Superb Hotel in St.Leonards. The landlady gave us our keys and explained a few things. We were on the top floor (no lifts as explained in description) with a lovely clean room and a free standing bath, mini fridge, tea making facilities etc. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was made upon request, everything from full english, pancakes, veggie breakfast, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, a great choice. Hotel is about 10 minutes to pier and 25 minutes to Hastings old town. Will come back again...

"The Lodge was lovely, Pauline the caretaker was very helpful and friendly, the only thing we would say is that it was like going through a maze to find it which proved a bit difficult initially but after a few tries we mastered it."

"Staff were friendly and the property itself exudes vintage elegance. Unfortunately our room (Room 5 on ground floor) smelt extremely strongly of damp, so we didn't unpack any belongings. Despite opening windows and airing the room, there remained a very strong smell. There is obviously a long-term damp problem with this room which the owners should really get fixed."

"By far the worst caravan pri we have ever stayed on it is definitely a OAP’s holiday site you get nothing but uncomfortable looks from other residents walking there dogs there is no facilities what so ever on site myself and my husband left with bad backs and necks due to the very hard cheap beds and pillows you could not pay us to ever visit this place again it was awful"

"Lovely caravan very clean and tidy with all the amenities you would won’t only draw back the garden isn’t secure and twice our dogs got out and although it’s not the owners fault walking them around the park at night you get a lot of speeding cars and the paths aren’t very lite, there’s also road works going on outside the park which creates long queues and a big detour."
