"The Divi has clean rooms, great beach access and all the amenities you might need. The property grounds are a bit older but the overall experience is great and much better than some of the four star hotels in the area "

"We stayed one night before a cruise embarking from this port the next day. The reception was very friendly and welcoming. We had messaged ahead thru Expedia to advise that flight delays would cause us not to arrive until almost midnight. At check-in it was a very nice surprise to learn that they had kindly prepared us each a plate of sandwiches, fruit, and muffin “to tide you over until breakfast.” Our room was immaculately clean even if the furniture and fixtures showed some age and wear. The location is right on the beach, with water views. At check-out, the government that we has to pay directly to the hotel was twice the amount Expedia had stated on our receipt. We would stay here again. "

"First of all this was my first time in Barbados and let me say the island is amazing. Secondly, Tia and the staff at South Gap were wonderful from check in to check out. The hotel is recently updated and has the perfect kitchenette for light food prep and storing your drinks/snacks. There are restaurants and plenty of beach access right at your door and although the hotel itself doesn’t have its own beach the deck and ocean views were more than compensation. We will certainly be returning next year!"
