We had a weekend getaway. The property was close to everything we wanted to do and was in a quiet area.
Clean and quiet, even though the police station is literally 1 street over. The antique furniture is beautiful, bed is comfortable, and amenities are great. Place was very clean upon arrival and Teresa responded quickly. Definitely will use again, if available, in the future.

What a nice little place to have a solo getaway. Clean and just right. I love old buildings, very charming.
The lobby had a bit of an odor, but apartment was just right!
Great little place big enough for a couple they have a really cool Paris theme throughout the apartment it’s located a short walk up the block from a gas station and some parks when they say please be nice to the antiques that’s what they mean I’m a big guy and was scared to sit on the furniture in the front room lol it was clean and ver comfortable plan to stay again if it’s available next time I’m in town

The bed was very uncomfortable. The furniture while beautiful was not practical. My husband couldn’t even sit as it was fragile antiques

I had a terrible time entering this property. The first night I couldn’t open the lockbox and had to get a room at a local hotel.
After spending a considerable amount of time on the phone with Expedia I was finally able to open the lockbox the next day. The place is charming. But walls were damaged and I was never able to get the TV to work. It was however very clean.
And it was freezing! The heater was never able to keep up with the chilly weather outside.
I called this place the Escape Room.

Beautiful historic Building. . Lovely antique furniture.
Very clean. Very comfy bed. Well stocked. Good WIFI.. Lots of TV channels.
Host quick to respond to questions and address any issues.. Friendly helpful Neighbours..
I really enjoyed my stay here. The size of the living space felt rather large. I mostly stayed in the bedroom. There was a minor hiccup with the key not being in the designated lockbox but Terri was very responsive and helpful to get me access to the unit. I really appreciated how kind Terri was and how great the place was overall. I really enjoyed being able to do laundry here as well as I was in the midst of a two week long trip on the road and midway through a series of races I was running across the Great Plains. It was also nice to be able to be within walking distance of several local and chain restaurants. Thank you Terri for your hospitality!
We loved this apartment. We loved the old home, the neighborhood (near downtown among other older homes that have been refurbished.
The apartment was well furnished. We loved the decor and used the well stocked kitchen extensively. The bed was comfy.
Most of the refurnishing is done nicely, but there were a few things that still reflected the age of the building, but for the most part they just added to the charm.
For the price we were more than pleased. We highly recommend it for any individual or couple coming to St. Joseph.
The area is full of large stately homes from the heyday of St Joe. It was pretty quiet at night but close to some nice restaurants and shops. Really easy to get anywhere within St Joe. We enjoyed a walk along the boulevard system - a 5 min drive and dinner at the Frederick Inn (3 minutes). We were here to visit family.

Very clean.
Bedroom is located near the back door entrance to the home which has an outside light that illuminates the bedroom-very hard to sleep. Had to purchase a sleeping mask my 2nd night.
Furniture very outdated-the living room is super uncomfortable.
1-2 miles from the property are numerous homeless individuals.
Loved the original wood floors and woodwork. It has 3 stories plus basement. It is a mix of apartments and vrbo units. Window air conditioners. Not enough hot water when showering. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
We reserved the Robidoux Retreat but it was actually already booked, so we had the Victorian. Everything was pretty good. Nice decor. One complaint was location of air conditioner in bathroom. It was right next to the commode and the toilet paper holder on the shower wall did not give enough room to comfortably get to the commode. I would recommend getting a floor stand toilet paper holder to eliminate the tight squeeze. Property really has a lot of potential though. Thank you.
