Would have enjoyed a regular swimming pool and not all "bar" pools. Enjoyed the various restaurants. The rooms need updating but were clean. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. They were great. Maybe more activities besides pool volleyball and trivia.

This was my first time staying at a Sandals resort. Overall, the resort was great including good location (15 mins from airport), great restaurants/food, very friendly staff and our butlers (Chavon, Geoffrey and Marylyne) were AMAZING!! There was entertainment throughout the day and live music in the evening. The piano bar had a nice vibe as well. The rooms are a little dated and need renovation (i.e., painting, wood repair and bathroom shelves were broken and a leaky sink). The rooms should be updated to more modern decor especially for the price. However, the room was clean and the resort grounds were well maintained. There was an issue with the room I booked, which was supposed to be ocean view versus the room we were in, which was tropical garden view, however this is an issue with Expedia as they falsely advertised the room. I'll definitely visit other Sandals resorts in the future.

I spent a lot of money to get here, and let me tell you It was by far the biggest mistake I made. This will be the first and last time I come to antigua. The staff was rude. As for the Wi-Fi. Good luck with that, you won't get any there. It was my first time going to Sandals, I thought I would have been in luxury, not even close. NEVER AGAIN. I can say about a handful were sweet. The food was horrible, And the staff for cleaning the rooms was horrendous. After experiencing this, I'm sticking from traveling to Cancun, Mexico. They are by far the most respectful to the touristsThey are by far the most respectful to the tourists. Visiting their country, visiting their country.

This was the second half of our trip to Antique and 1st time to Sandels. There’s many good and several not so good things. We booked a room in the Caribbean portion of hotel ( There’s 3 different parts on property, all connected) our room, building and walkout pool area was showing its age and wear. Most staff were friendly and welcoming. Beach is spectacular and beautiful. All and all not bad but not 5 star property. The street neighborhood around the properties are very rundown and the island is showing the economic impact of poor leadership.

I realize that vegan options didn’t have enough variety. The chefs tried providing vegan meals but I felt they could do better at various restaurants with the appetizers, entree and deserts.

I rated a 4 because of an experience at Eleanor’s restaurant which sticks in my mind and made us feel really bad when it happened. My husband and I had reservations for Eleanor’s on my birthday evening, we showed up well dressed and excited, the maitre D looked at us and said- we are closed. She looked at our startled and disappointed faces for about 15 to 20 secs before saying she was kidding. The restaurant could have sent over a cupcake with a candle to acknowledge my birthday. Nothing! This interaction leaves a really bad taste towards Sandals. I’m having second thoughts about our plans to book another Sandals for our December trip. This just sticks out for me and I can’t forget how I felt. Other waitresses and restaurants were excellent including the red lane spa.

Great beach, great verity, but some of the girls on the restaurants they look at us like we were stilling something, than on barefoot they didnt let us dinne because my shirt didnt had sleeves, than i saw about 3 o 4 guys wint no sleeves dinning, that was a diwn side.

Property needs updating, it is very worn and old. Bathroom in or room had calk filling scratches and holes in the toilet and tub had worn spots, tile grout was chipped and falling out. Service at restaurants was mediocre. The younger employees seemed to be in a bad mood and not wanting to work or be there. At breakfast I needed to ask for coffee two more times after asking for it when being seated. Waited over 20 minutes after main dish to be asked if we wanted desert. Now the good is the beaches are incredible and most employees were nice and polite. The location is one of the most stunningly beautiful places I have seen. Overall had a great time just needs a little fixing up of the facilities and a little motivation to get younger employees on board. Again overall wonderful

This property went beyond our expectations! This was our first stay at any Sandals. We had a five day stay. We decided we needed just to relax. We did just that. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property and the rooms were kept immaculate. The choice of restaurants were excellent. The pool and beach were beautiful ❤️
