"Lovely location on Dickinson Bay beach, with dining options on either side, from cheap (Calie's Cafe) to expensive (Salt Plage), and further away. The staff is super friendly and take good care of you. This is a well-maintained property in terms of grounds, but apartments are not well maintained (outlets not working, issues with some appliances, some fixtures falling apart). "

"Management (Mario) was superb in a personal crisis, customer service from restaurant staff and room staff was wonderful. The pool was amazing, as was the WiFi. Food choices were great, it has been a lovely holiday. The niggles: reception staff do not smile and could be officious. The fridge in the room was unstocked the whole time. You are given one tiny bottle of water you are expected to refill throughout the holiday, it was only a mouthful and not adequate when you can’t drink tap and there was nothing to drink at night from the fridge. I ended up getting a plastic 2 litre rum bottle and filling that up, so bring your own bottle/canteen. Plus Expedia advertise the holiday as all taxes included, they are not. $10 per room per night is payable as a tourist tax when you arrive. I knew about the tax prior but believed the marketing. The only reason I would give this hotel a bad review is because I don’t want more people to come here. I have stayed in luxury resorts on the island, this beat them all. The pool and view was amazing, and (most of) the staff so friendly. I would not hesitate to book again. "

She went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and catered to, making us feel like VIPs. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to their guests, and I truly appreciated her honesty and gentle demeanor. I also want to give a special shoutout to Yoan, who consistently stocked our snack bar with everything we could possibly want. His attentiveness never went unnoticed, and it added a special touch to our stay. Additionally, the wonderful ladies in the cafeteria and the incredible staff at the steakhouse, including Alicia and Aaliyah, contributed to our fantastic dining experiences. Their sweet personalities and excellent service made every meal delightful. The hotel itself is a perfect sanctuary for celebration. I had professional photography done, explored some vibrant parties, and felt safe and secure throughout my entire stay—an essential factor for any traveler. Royalton Chic truly provides a safe and inviting environment for tourists, making it an ideal location for celebrating milestones like honeymoon. Ask for snow. "

"The property offers pristine views and for that I am so grateful. They were able to accommodate a last minute reservation because I decided to extend my trip a little bit and my previous resort did not have any availability. All staff were kind, helpful, and friendly so I truly felt like a valued guest. The room itself was reminiscent of 80s south beach Miami; it could use a renovation but for a night or two at the last minute it was perfectly acceptable. Cute little beach shard with the property next door. Access available to that property’s resto and bar as well. Would probably stay here again if I needed to; proximity to the airport is also a plus. "

"I very much enjoyed my stay in this resort. It’s very quiet and safe location so lots of opportunities to relax. My room was clean and quite comfortable. I was on all inclusive and enjoyed all the meals and cocktails. Also I need to mention that all the resort staff were very friendly and helpful so I felt very well looked after, thank you "

"Galley Bay Resort is absolutely gorgeous. It is almost as if you have the beach to yourself. The staff is the most friendly and accommodating we have ever experienced. The food in any of the restaurants is exceptional and the food service is superb. Our room was large and very comfortable right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and has rolling waves that are fun. There are some areas to snorkel off the beach but when we stayed, the waves were keeping the water too cloudy to snorkel. The resort did shuttle us to a calm bay where we were able to snorkel a bit. Not the best snorkeling we have experienced, but we took a 4-hour sail and snorkel trip with Captain Sean which was fantastic. But there are many other activities available: the pool with a waterfall is relaxing and there are water sports offered such as sailing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Tennis, volleyball, ping pong, a pool table, bicycling, and croquet are also offered as is a daily yoga class. The resort caters to adults only and there is a relaxed and mature feel to the place. We met many other couples and made friends easily. If you are seeking a beautiful place to completely relax with a touch of elegance, this is your resort!"
