Amazing views of Cruz Bay and St Thomas, conveniently located near town with access to the ferry, shopping, grocery, and restaurants. Minutes drive to the beautiful north shore beaches. Expansive outdoor living and pool to cool off in the evening after a day at the beach. Beautiful sunsets over the Caribbean toward St Thomas.
Ginger Thomas is built on two levels with a king size bedroom and full bathroom on each floor. Ginger Thomas has spectacular unobstructed views of the Caribbean waters and neighboring islands, the town of Cruz Bay and the mountains of St. John. It is located on Pocket Money Lane, a private cul-de-sac. The town of Cruz Bay and the ferry dock are .4 miles from the villa. We suggest renting a vehicle in order to see the island and enjoy town and the beaches.
As you arrive at Ginger Thomas, the lush landscaping welcomes you to your home away from home. The main floor living room is furnished with a new queen sleeper sofa and two comfortable chairs. The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops and two bar stools. The main living area leads you through an expansive 18 foot wide sliding pocket door that opens to the large outdoor living space. A portion of the living space is a covered veranda with a comfortable wicker couch, dining table and a Weber gas grill for your convenience while you enjoy the spectacular sunset with boats sailing in the distance across the Caribbean waters. The other portion of the outdoor living space is uncovered and includes chaise lounges in the sun and a beautiful splash pool on the deck.
On the lower level, via an exterior staircase, French doors lead you to a suite with A/C and a king size bed. The room has a full bath suite and a mini fridge, Smart TV and DVD player.
There is a house generator for any power outages that might occur on island. There is a 50 inch flat screen satellite TV in the living room as well as the lower level. There is also a collection of games and books.
New service for your convenience! We now providetrash service twice a week. Thereis no trash removal on St John. Normally all trash must be broughtto the local dumpsters on the island.
The property has many amenities such as Starlink Wi-Fi, which is extremely high-speed and always available, bluetooth speakers, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, UV water purification system, Smart TV's, dishwasher, washer/dryer and A/C in the bedrooms. There is a walking path through the garden around the property.

Great villa in a great location!
This villa is a quick drive into Cruz Bay. The villa itself is charming, the indoor/outdoor living is perfect. We used the pool every afternoon after going to the beach. We can't wait to stay here again!

Ohh, the view!
Close to Cruz Bay but far enough to be quiet and private! Pool and patio are fantastically relaxing. The view at night is stunning and made it necessary for a pre-dinner selfie each night!

We had a fabulous time in St John and our villa added to that wonderful experience! Coffee on the patio every morning - dip in the pool after a day at the beach - watching the beautiful sunsets - doesn’t get much better than that!! And Karen was so responsive to any questions we had and so pleasant to talk to. We loved our stay and hope to be back some day!!

Ginger Thomas was a perfect house for two couples. Unbeatable views, perfect for the sunset. Five minute drive to town, plenty of markets close by. You definitely will want a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get around island. Ample outdoor space was a plus!

We loved our stay at this home. Kitchen had anything we could need. Nice beach chairs were a huge plus! We brought our own snorkel gear, but love that 2 sets were provided as well. AC was only in the bedrooms, not main area, so we did end up putting all 3 kids in one room. Overall a great experience.

GREAT LOCATION AND VIEWS
The house provided everything we needed for a wonderful time in St. John. And the views are spectacular! The location was great and close to grocery stores and restaurants. The beaches on St. John are beautiful and the owner made it even better by providing beach bags full of towels, coolers, beach chairs and masks with snorkels. The pool was an added bonus for our trip. We had a great time! But the views from the terrace - I can't get over the views!!

The location is great. The outside areas and bathrooms are really nice and comfortable. I think there must be a space reason for the dishwasher which is somewhat weird in that the plates are too big for the washer. We lived outside and that was great--great views, swing and everything. Also great is the generator that the house has. We lost power in a storm and our house remained lit up and we could finish making dinner. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful views and the most comfortable beds we've ever stayed on!
The whole place is wonderful. The outdoor area is perfect for lounging. I liked that we had 2 separate living areas with our own entrances, bathrooms, and tiled showers. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. It is helpful to have a vehicle because of the steep hill, especially with luggage and groceries. We would happily return. Thank you Tara and James.

Amazing!
4, 50yr old adults. Like to have fun and enjoy the sights and scenery - we had an AMAZING WEEK!!! Tara, owner, lives next door and was a sweetheart and helped us immediately when we ran out of gas for the grill and couldn't access the safe. The property was INCREDIBLE!! The view you dream of!! We will be back!!

Fantastic views!
This home is perfect for two couples who want to vacation together. It affords plenty of room for togetherness but gives you privacy with the bedrooms on two different floors. The home is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. There was only one thing that we felt needed attention and that was the dining room chairs should either be replaced or seats filled and recovered. Everything else was pure perfection!

The view is unbeatable!!
We stayed here in Sept 2023 and were so pleased with our stay. Everything we needed and more. Snorkel equipment, chairs, canopy, and coolers were provided. AC was cold, beds were comfy and the kitchen and outdoor area was fully stocked with everything for grilling, cooking or just making drinks. Lots of outdoor seating and having the pool at night was a major plus? Downtown and the grocery store are at the bottom of the hill, so, fun, the ferry and conveniences were right outside our door. I’d definitely stay here again! Karen and Dan were great to work with too!

Beautiful Villa with Gorgeous Views!
Ginger Thomas well exceeded our expectations! It offers a clean, comfortable and spacious floor plan with 2 Master Suites (one which is private downstairs) that was perfect for my husband and our friends to stay at! The outdoor patio and pool area were great after a long day at the beach! Last but certainly not least, the amazingly beautiful views from this property are second to none! Also our hosts, Karen and Dan, we’re very accommodating and if we had any questions they answered us immediately. We can’t wait to be able to stay here again in the future :) R. Hughes

Oustanding Property!!
The house was clean, stocked with everything we needed to cook and relax, view overlooking St Thomas and Cruz Bay was astonishing and the SUNSETS were second to none! We all talked about how comfortable and fluffy the beds and bedding were throughout our whole stay, it was a main topic of conversation :) My sister even took pictures of the bedding labels and bought the same for her house at home. A/C in the bedrooms was a savior for us and kept us quite comfy as well. For clarification, these are 2 separate living quarters- 1 with the full kitchen and living area that goes out to the pool, and the other studio downstairs with a separate entrance and its own bathroom and shower. The pool was clean and refreshing with views from every corner. We grilled each night and everything worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend this property for your vacation in St. John!

The owners did not disappoint! They thought of everything you would need. The additional bedroom downstairs was a private-convent-PREFECT space for 2 couples! From beach towels to spices to coffee to yoga mats to binoculars -JUST WOW! Even though the kitchen didn’t have air conditioning-it stayed cool thanks for providing FANS! The sun comes down hard and they have shades that pull down on patio just wonderful. Hey PORCH SWING too. Grilling in evening was great treat. WE WILL RETURN! Just FABULOUS-trash service right out the doors. Thank you. What a great vacation.

amazing property
We love our stay at Ginger Thomas! From our initial communication while we awaited our stay at St. John to our rocky arrival, due to crazy weather. Karen & Dan were amazing. They are very attentive and great to communicate with. The villa was perfect, had everything you needed for your stay. all the beach stuff (chairs/beach towels etc), kitchen was very well equipped and the whole villa was so clean!. The bedrooms on 2 different floors were ideal for privacy with two couples. The outdoor space was so great, beautiful views, lovely dipping pool, the grill and outdoor seating - all fantastic. I couldn't recommend this villa and the owners more! I would go back! and wish i were there now : )
