"There are holiday letting operators; then there are holiday hosts. Albert is a one of the latter. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided a superb daily breakfast or brunch with a fruit platter, home-made bread, and even eggs from his chooks. This is glamping - it's not for fusspots - it's a farmlet with insects, frog & bird noises, and the kitchen/living room/toilet are about 40m from the tent. "Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."
