Perfect location in St. Ives visit, very charming!
This is a beautifully renovated fisherman's cottage on a wonderful little lane just off of the main street leading to the harbor. Tons of shops and restaurants just steps away, museums too! (I highly recommend the Barbara Hepworth Museum).ji Close to train and bus station for access to all that Cornwall has to offer. There are definitely steps to consider as this property is second floor but we (in our 70's) got used to quickly (take your time). This is a property that you must walk to, no cars on this lane. There is a slight hill (everywhere in St. Ives) and we did have to pull our suitcases over the cobbles which was a little bit of a challenge the first day. Once inside, the living areas are very nice. The bathroom is right inside the front door by the kitchen and bedrooms are upstairs. A little challenging for nighttime bathroom visits. Bedrooms are nice, one double bed and one room with two small twins. Nicely decorated. Outside of the kitchen is a small deck area, it was too damp for us to use. No microwave or dishwasher which was really not an issue for us. We adored the town and the location of this property. You really cannot go wrong staying in this charming home.
