Great location for the town and beaches
Nice old cottage very quirky enough room in the bedrooms, personally I found the double bed matteress to be uncomfortable and could feel the springs, shower was good and kitchen dinner good, the TV and dvd player are useful for kids, the harbour is a minute walk away and the beach is 3 minutes away, this house is on the junction of two roads and all the morning delivery vehicles come past from 5.45 am onwards and stop at the junction and pull off, if your a light sleeper like me it was a bit annoying but it didn't bother anybody else in our family, so don't let it put you off, the only other thing to mention is as described there is no parking here and being new to St Ives we didn't realise how restricted parking is in the town as there is limited parking, there's is space in front of the church in front of the house where you can pull in and off load, this is better than some rentals that you can't even stop in front of, it's just the way it is in St Ives, you can then take your car to long stay parking at the rugby club for six pounds a day and top this up as required by a phone call or app it's 20 mins walk away or a bus comes and goes from there regularly to the town centre or tate gallery
