"We went there at the very end of the season to have a get away for our birthday weekend. The Staff was so friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. The waitresses sang Happy Birthday to me in the restaurant and even though they were out of the cookie dessert I wanted, made a delicious donut dessert which was so good, better than some of the donuts from cider mills by us. Also loved the fruit water containers outside of the pool area, got some nice refreshing water every morning before we headed out on our excursions, very nice touch. Would love to go back in summer when things were all open( as far as shops and other restaurants)"

"The rooms are a good size with a big bathroom. There is a table with 2 chairs, a couple seats outside too, and the mic/fridge are a great bonus. Room was immaculately clean when we arrived. Motel is near the ferry terminal which is nice as well"

"I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was to stay here! Please read on to the end! I stayed in the Bavarian Haus for only one night, but enjoyed my stay. The room had a fridge and a microwave was available near my room. The breakfast had enough options to get me started for the day. The room was exceptionally quiet and I woke up to the sun rising over the lake (beautiful!). The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond for me as I checked out. My back tire was completely flat the morning I checked out (I ran over a screw during my drive to the UP). I was unsure how to change a tire and asked the kind lady behind the desk. She immediately called the gentleman working maintenance to help. He graciously changed my tire out in the cold weather. This allowed me to safely drive 7 hours back home to Wisconsin. I cannot tell you how grateful I was for the caring staff!! Thank you, Sarah C."
