"We had a great stay at The Sandbar over Christmas and NYE! Perfect for our extended family group, walking distance to the lake, large backyard for the kids to play soccer & backyard cricket. House was clean and as described, beds comfy! Garage is stocked with various backyard games and bikes for guests to use. Mar & Dars cafe down the road is great for a coffee. Host was very responsive, we had a small issue with one of the fridges not working and it was replaced promptly, despite public holiday...

"My children had so much fun being able to wake up and start fishing off the deck. It was a great relaxing weekend away for our wedding anniversary. I think a Bluetooth stereo could be added. Only thing I can mention that was considered poor, is maybe getting the place fumigated as lots of little spiders and two large cockroaches in the house. But that was the only issue.Thank you for having us. "

"Spotlessly clean stay with everything you need for a quiet getaway. Very close to a picturesque little park where we sat in the late afternoon admiring the sunset over the water. Great little park for kids and a shallow and calm swimming spot for the little ones. Definitely stay there again"

"We had a lovely stay. The house was very modern and clean. Very spacious and set in a very quiet area. Very relaxing. It was also very close to the town centre which was convenient. Short drive to the beach or to the lake. Will definitely stay here again next holiday. Great place for the family. "

It probably doesn’t suit the more serious anglers with well outfitted boat that needs secure parking. The driveway is extremely steep which I did not pick up in the online listing."

"House was a good size for what we required. Plenty of space to relax. Pool was good once we cleaned it. It was pretty dirty. We were unable to use the grass area as the grass was overgrown and needed mowing. Overall cleanliness was ok. Just the ovens and bbq needed a really thorough clean. Main issue was the damp smell of the lower ground floor. Carpet may have been wet and not dried??"
