NEW 10' wide county-owned beach path DIRECTLY due south from Sandtrap to the beach, located in between homes! This is an additional quicker beach access option. There is also the beach accesses at the end of the streets where the boardwalks are.

Welcome to "Sandtrap", a newly renovated small & comfortable beach place only a short walk to both the beach boardwalk and the county owned bay front park, (Regatta Park). Sandtrap offers privacy and seclusion on a quiet street only 150 yards to the beach!

Spacious 2nd floor accommodations along with a sundeck provides added enjoyment to your island experience. The first floor has a covered porch which is perfect for grilling and enjoying meals!



Our fresh and fully stocked kitchen offers all the amenities of home that would delight a gourmet cook. We're pleased to offer a variety of spices for your cooking enjoyment. The dining table seats 4 in a open floor plan. Y


We provide a park style charcoal grill, and a fish cleaning sink & table located downstairs. The washer and dryer are conveniently located upstairs adjoining the kitchen!

NEW AMENITY: 4 seat Club Car gas-powered GOLF CART with an additional space for a cooler is available for a minimum of 3 nights at an additional charge of $75 per night. In your VRBO inquiry or VRBO communication, please let us know if you'd like to reserve the golf cart. We will then add the fee and send you a separate payment request. At least a 7 day advance notice for reserving the golf cart is required. For photos of the golf cart, scroll to the end of the photos.

COUNTY GOLF CART REGS: Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license in order to drive a golf cart. No driving on Gulf Beach Drive and Franklin Boulevard, (although you can cross them), and no driving on the paved bike path that is parallel to Gulf Beach Drive.

Sorry no group gatherings allowed, even for day use, beyond the maximum occupancy of 2 people.

NOTE:
3 night minimum stay requirement except during the peak Summer High season which has a 5 night minimum stay requirement, with summer check in and check out of any day of the week.

50% initial deposit due with reservation confirmation w/ the final 50% by 30 days prior to arrival.

*We cater to adults only 25 years and up. Sorry, absolutely no pets.

If you need to cancel, we will provide a full refund 60 days or more prior to arrival. No refund within 60 days. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended because you never know what unexpected life event could occur.

$100.00 cleaning/linens/bath towels fee

Up to a $300 damage option will be automatically charged to your credit card within 14 days of check out if any damage occurs, including damage to the golf cart if you rent it.

Great Stay!
The property was very clean and there is plenty of room! We couldn’t believe how much stuff they had in the kitchen for meal preparation and for fun at the beach. The property is close to the ocean and the golf cart is so much fun and allows for exploration of the island!

Awesome spot for a family vacay
The Sandtrap was the perfect spot for our gang who ranged in age from 1-71. Easy access to the beach, great screened in porch and super well stocked kitchen made this place perfect! I would recommend it to anyone.

perfect beach getaway
Perfect for big family get-together. Spacious, extremely comfortable with enough room for getting everyone together with enough room to also have privacy. Beautiful beach themed decor...so much detail in every room... Our family had an unforgettable vacation...planning to make this an annual family getaway and definitely want to get away to the SANDTRAP!

Perfect Island and Amazing House!
Just a bunch of moms away for 5 days. We loved the amount of space in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with every gadget we could need. We used the second living room as a yoga rooms and the outside shower was the best! Communication with the representatives and owners was great! So many towels and blankets and just the perfect rental. We will be back!!

Great house lots of room and very clean with all the dishes and spices you need to cook anything you would want The golf cart was great for getting to the beach with all of our stuff and everyone fit on it plus running in to eat and shop and just to cruise around and look at everything Great owners I thought I left my ring and earrings and they went to look for them for me. turned out I had gotten them. You won’t be disappointed in your stay!

The perfect paradise, can't wait to return!
The Sand Trap was such an incredible place to stay. Everything was spotless and the home was set up so well. It had everything we needed for our week long trip. It was only my husband and I, on our honeymoon, but the house is large enough to fit an entire family, maybe even two families, in it! We are already planning to bring our families back to this home for our next vacation. I cannot say enough great things about this home and the owners. Communication was great, responses were very quick and instructions were clear. I highly suggest paying to use the golf cart, it was so worth it to be able to ride around the island. The house is a very short walk to the beach and has a great outdoor set up. I 100% suggest booking your vacation here, we will certainly be back!

A wonderful family reunion location!
What a wonderful time we all had at this wonderful house. The hosts went above and beyond anyplace I have ever been in my considerable travels. So many extras not normally seen in a rental! I wish I could play hostess to them!We had 3 families consisting of grandparents, children and 4 grandchildren. There was enough space for every one and lots to do. An extra added bonas was that the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We rented bikes and toured all around. I'm sure we looked like a multiaged gang. I can't say enough good about the care to detail and comfort our hosts extended. Thank you for a week our family will always remember.

Awesome place to stay for big families!
The place was very clean and bright. The owners provided lots of extras with this house. It had keurigs in both kitchens with pods as well as regular coffee. Sugar, spices and several other amenities so we didn't have to run to the store as soon as we got there. We ate at the house a lot and the kitchens, ovens and outdoor grill were great. There were lots of towels and linens along with soaps to wash everything from dishes to clothes to seashells. There was a lot of sleeping spaces too. The beach and bay are only a block and a half away and the house is on a dirt road so it was quieter than being on the main roads. My brother and his family was able to visit us while we were there too and there was plenty of room. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time and plan to be back soon. St George Island is truly beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful stay!!
This property was so perfect for my family! It was very clean, the kitchen was full of cooking utensils, pots, and pans. We really enjoyed the double living rooms! SO MANY BATHROOMS! The outdoor shower was fantastic for eveyone to rinse off after the beach! The outdoor deck area was perfect, we enjoyed breakfast outside almost every morning without bugs bothering us. The golf cart is a NECESSITY! Golf carts seem to be the main way of transportation on the island. The was beautiful, not crowded at all. I could go on and on about this beautiful property. It was everything I could have asked for and more. We will definitely be booking this home for our family vacation next year!

Teacher get away
We had 8 teachers stay at this great house as a continuing tradition of having a week at the beach before school starts. Having 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens was ideal! We even had a "kitchen wars" with teams on one of the nights! I loved the little nook with the single bed for quiet rest. The golf cart was well worth it for going to the beach and seeing sunsets over the bay. This was the most well supplied house we have stayed in!

The extra mile
We loved staying here for our week long vacation. They truly thought of everything. The extra amenities really helped secure a great experience. They had hampers in every bathroom and stocked with laundry and dishwashing detergent. The multitude of spices helped when we made burgers on the GIANT grill. they supplied literally any type of cooking dish you could need. The only thing I would add would be a microwave and pantry in the second kitchen. We did lots of walking back and forth. The best part was the screened in porch with the multitude of fans! Thanks again for a great stay! Will book again!

Amazing Vacation Home
Rent this house and you will be hooked. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house is for a family vacation. The house has an amazing amount of room. Plenty of amenities, the kitchens are stocked with everything you would need, a grill for cooking outside, two different porch settings for eating together, one a room and the other a screened in with tables. There is plenty of room to get together to eat. A wonderful outside area with chairs and a hammock. I would give this 100 stars if I could. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!!
