Dabble or swim from the white sandy bay beach or relax the day away in the hanging swing at the pool deck. Footprints in the Sand offers an amazing Island location close to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the State Park, and St. George Lighthouse Museum. Whether spending the day splashing in the surf and picking up seashells, exploring the Island on the nearby bicycle path, or just curling up with a good book and a refreshing beverage on the deck, this property has something for everyone!

The exterior of this home offers a sparkling pool (heated for a fee) on the bay front; an outdoor shower, a fish cleaning area, and a park-style grill for your fresh catch. The fenced-in pool deck offers both shaded spaces to relax and visit or a sun deck where you can grab your Florida tan. An exterior staircase connects the ground level and pool deck to all the exterior decks of the home.

The first floor offers the main bedroom with a TV, direct access to the covered deck with rocking chairs, and a full bathroom. The second bedroom also enjoys direct access to the covered deck. The third twin bedroom has a TV. A shared full bathroom is provided along with a convenient laundry room with a washer/dryer. The second floor offers gorgeous, sweeping views of the bay from an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan with three sets of French doors to the covered deck. Cozy up in the comfortable living room and enjoy the wood-burning fireplace in the winter. A TV provides entertainment for your crew and the comfy sofa converts to a queen sleeper. Step out to the covered deck and enjoy breakfast on the patio table. Additional deck seating allows you to enjoy coastal views well into your evening. The well-appointed kitchen has all you need to prepare a fantastic dinner to enjoy at the dining table. Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, and beach chairs!

The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Not impressed
This house moves with every blow of the wind. Literally. Scary and not safe. Needs to be checked for structural compliance. We left early even after arriving two days late due to the evacuation earlier in the week. Could not do the constant movement. It bothered everyone in our party.

Comfortable and Cheery Bayfront Stay.
We have stayed at the property before and knew what to expect. There a lot of stairs but the payoff is a wonderful view off the back of the house. The multi story deck/porch is a plus for watching the water for long stretches at a time. They have screened in some of the porch as well, which made outdoor sitting pleasant. The house is appointed with bright and cheery beach decor. It’s not super fancy but very clean and well appointed. We had some issues with the toilets but Vacasa and island staff responded promptly even after hours and were very friendly as they worked to fix the problem. I was concerned at first that Vacasa was not local, but the rental experience was incredibly smooth and their responsiveness to our needs commendable.

Beautiful views from the bay
We really enjoyed our vacation in the home. It was private yet close to the state park and Main Street. Well equipped kitchen. Nice porch swing to view the sunsets.

Pretty place, tucked away by the bay side of St George. The view of the bay is exceptional, and the house has plenty of room to meet as a family, or split up in groups as needed.

Perfect location
This house was the perfect location for our annual siblings reunion. The view across the bay was amazing especially at sunset where we were treated to spectacular sunsets every day. The house was spacious in a surprisingly private area and suited our every need. We will definitely return to Footprints in the Sand.

We loved the house!
We loved the house! The way to the dock was a little mushy. Some of the dishes/pans were dirty but other than that everything was clean. It was big enough for all of us and then some!
