The man who checked us in was polite and helpful. He did mention they have had problems with local people who rent rooms.
He told us we should park in the back of the motel since it would be closer to our room. There were people back there yelling at each other about being drunk, not drunk and other things. They appeared to be staying at the motel. There was also a very run down trailer park on the other side of the block wall in the back. We decided not to park in the back and informed the front desk person of that decision. The room itself was decently clean but we decided to make sure we used the deadbolt and door block. We also put the table in front of the door. We woke up around 2:30am to more yelling and car doors slamming. The continental breakfast was very sparse. We will not be staying there again.
