close to beach and bus stop into st helier opposit
excellent staff very tired hotel could do with good refurb
This hotel was absolutely faultless. We stayed for a week at The Salaries Coast Hotel and it was perfect for us because the wonderful beach was literally on the doorstep of the hotel and they provided a great breakfast with lots of variety every morning. The indoor and outdoor pools were both available and they were clean and refreshing. We were so lucky to have such great weather on our trip awarded we were able to see the whole of Jersey during our stay. We will certainly be returning to this hotel in the future!

Hotel staff excellent but the rooms are dated
Enjoyed our stay very much staff helpful Plenty of things to do on the island
Easy to get around with a good bus service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room clean and had a excellent vue of the beach. Meals were very good with excellent staff and services.
We stayed in an apartment which was very well equipped, even a large basket of tea/coffee making essentials. Apart from the creaking floorboards everything was outstanding, very clean and comfortable.
Thought the cooked breakfast was a bit expensive but otherwise prices were comparable with all other establishments.
The first thing I'd say is that if you are expecting or wanting a luxury hotel then this is not for you. The hotel is three star and is a good three star. I've seen reviews slating it for being old fashioned, well it doesn't claim to be a modern hotel so read about it first. It was a nice place and yes it is a little tired in pets but it is clean and I found all the staff friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was nice for the kids as the outdoor pool was really cold at times. It is easy to get into town from the hotel as the bus stop is right outside and st hellier has some great beaches and lots to see. The food was nice in the hotel but they should maybe invest in some fans for when the weather is hot as it gets really hot inside. There's no air con so if you need that don't go and moan that it's not there.
Kids loved it and the pool area gives lots of space to play in sight of you.
Would go back with the kids but prob not as a couple if I wanted a more modern hotel.

Staff wonderful, hotel appearance very tired
We had received an email from Expedia telling us they had upgraded us to a garden apartment and included dinner - thankfully it was true! On arrival at the hotel we were issued with a key and pointed towards the apartments - numbers are on the back of the buildings so it was quite difficult to know where we were supposed to be going! Fortunately for us, the lovely Stanley (from the bar) was in the garden area and he directed us. Door into the apartment was very sticky and took some hefty shoulder work to open. Never seen so many doors in our lives for one apartment! Apartment was clean and had the necessary bits and pieces needed. Beds quite comfortable and sufficient storage space. Hairdryer was missing but Pavel (reception) instantly got one for us. Apparently people take them home with them!! We arrived at 8.00pm and dinner finishes at 8.15 so we could not have anything. Asked for a sandwich and told kitchen was closed but then Cosmin (bar) went and made us a sandwich - what a star! Ate at the restaurant the following 2 nights. Food was lovely but service a little slow. Not the fault of the staff - there were only a couple of people trying to cope with a full restaurant. Mikhal (restaurant manager) was superb, even giving my husband a cheesecake complete with candle for his birthday! Outdoor swimming pool a haven for seagulls and their babies! Indoor swimming pool a haven for children throwing balls and not minding who they hit with them!! Reasonable location.

Comfortable hotel on the coast
Pleasant stay but bedroom could do with some up-dating. However bed was very comfortable, staff were very pleasant and helpful and garden area good to sit out in. Food on the whole was good and quite varied in choice.
The hotel is well situated being on the seafront and on a bus route. Can't comment on the evening meals as we didn't try them but the breakfasts were good with all the usual choices. Staff were courteous, barman was friendly and overall we had a pleasant stay with no problems.

Lovely Quaint hotel opposite sea
Fantastic breakfast, amazing staff, lovely gardens and good facilities, not too far to St Helier with bus stops close by.
The dining room has uninterrupted sea views. The hotel and grounds are very clean. This is not a modern impersonal hotel but has an air of old world charm about it.
Our room was in a block of 4 to 5 away from the main building and although beautifully clean and comfortable was in need of a little TLC and the steps up were a little scary. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again, but not to the same room.
We booked a family room for 4, on arrival the room which is situated by the car park on the ground floor smelt stagnant, curtains hooks half missing, generally the room was in need of an update, due to the state of the room we decided we were not going to stay in it. We went to reception and was told there`s nothing can be done till the manager came in at 6pm so we went off to the pool which was nice. On arrival back at the room there was ants in the sink and sugar bowel so we packed and left. We were given 2 double rooms which were very basic. The food in the restaurant was 1st class, shame the rooms let the hotel down. For the money we paid we certainly would not be returning or recommend that particular hotel for families.
Hotel overall good, , but position of the room , in the lobby, was very poor.Noisy at night , due to people coming into the hotel and reception staff in the office. I have never known a bedroom in the lobby before!

Guest at Dance World Cup, so no time for sight seeing etc
The first room that we were allocated was a disgrace, paper pealing off the wall and ceiling damp smell and feel when we opened the window to air the room it opened onto a pigeon infested roof. Fortunately the hotel staff managed to allocate another room which although a lot better wasn't fantastic still needed to air the room and nip to the local shop to buy an air freshener. It was close to me checking out and looking for another hotel. The hotel is dated with narrow corridors and noise from other guests could clearly be heard from within the room which didn't provide the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for when we booked this break. The room itself was a reasonable size however the bathroom was very tight for space.
Close to the beach and main bus route just over the road , staff very helpful and very friendly , food good and value for money , wifi intermittent in main areas and poor in rooms .

This was our third visit to this hotel. The food on the restaurant is great and it won't burn a hole on your pocket. The staff bend over backwards to make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. However, apart from the bar, reception and restaurant the interior is looking very tired and the rooms and corridors are in great need of refurbishment. Not quite 4 star I would suggest struggling to maintain 3 star.

Reasonable hotel close to beach and bus stop.
The hotel is comfortable but slightly dated and requires refurbishment.
Spacious family room. Clean. Nice products in bathroom etc. Just very very dated. No duvets, just old style sheets and itchy blankets! Location fine. Parking fine. Very handy indoor pool. Breakfast fine. Generally fine, they just need to spend some money on it.
Beautifully located hotel, with the sea just across the road and bus stops right outside giving direct access to St Hellier.

Felt more like a B & B
Disappointed from the moment we arrived, looks very dated and very much like a B&B from the front door.
Tiny reception area, 3 people waiting when we arrived and we were almost out the front door as it is so small.
I had requested, and paid extra for a sea view, I had assumed it would include a balcony but this was not the case, just a window that opened out.
The room was quite small for a twin room, you had to move around one at a time.
The TV only had the very basic channels
Shame the Wi-Fi is not available throughout the hotel, only in the communal areas
Staff are very helpfull location is really good, facilities are excellent.Christine at the front desk was very helpful on more than one occasion, good bus service right outside the front door. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
