"A peaceful, comfortable stay with excellent, good value meals in the village of St Julien-en-Beauchene, a fine location for excellent walks in the adjacent hills and mountains. It is a good place to stop over if heading south from Grenoble on the D1075. Also the Grenoble - Nice bus service stops at the door."

"This truly is an exceptional chalet. We spent a wonderful and memorable week here. Such a quiet, rural location with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains! The chalet is gorgeous; spacious, cosy and characterful with a lovely open plan layout. Some of the rooms are very small in the basement and under the eaves and sound carries very easily "

"Stunning area, loads to do. Great value property. We drove over to see the Tour de France, apparently some years it comes right past the house but not this year unfortunately. Bar/ restaurant up the road did great home cooked food for two nights we were here that Kate organised for us for two courses for twelve euros which was great value too. We will be back!"
