"Beam Reach" was built in 1970 by an architect for his family. It looks as stylish & modern today as the day it was built. There's lots of mid-century touches.
OUTSIDE -- Almost an acre of lush garden, with a private large heated Pool. The garden is fully fenced and very private, and the pool area is fenced separately for safety. There are two patios directly outside the house - the upper patio from the living room looks over the garden and over tree-tops out to sea, the lower next to the kitchen is more shelter with views of the garden and a perfect spot dining.
The front of the house is also enclosed with gates & hedges for privacy. There's ample parking for multiple cars, and more parking on the street without parking restrictions.
INSIDE -- The house is upside down to make the most of the views. It's 3 levels, with a half staircase between each.
The upper level has an oversize Living Room with patio doors to the upper patio with amazing views. There are three seating areas, great for large groups or extended family.
The entry level has the dining kitchen, separate dining room, large hallway, plus one bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There's also an additional WC.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for the perfect holiday; including range cooker, dishwasher and American style fridge-freeze. The dining room comfortably seats 10 people.
For the first master bedroom (on the entry level) you can choose either one Super-king bed or 2 single beds. It's en-suite bathroom is a fully tiled wet-room with walk in shower.
The lower level has the 2nd master bedroom with en-suite, 3 more bedrooms, the family bathroom, and the utility room with washer & dryer.
The 2nd Master Bedroom has a 6 foot super-king bed and en-suite. Third Bedroom has 5 foot king-size bed. Fourth Bedroom has two 3 foot single beds (or one 6ft super-king bed). Fifth Bedroom has two single beds - recommended for children. Family Bathroom is fully tiled with illuminated mirror, and a shower over the bathtub.
NEARBY --Beautiful location close to the Sea and South West Coastal Path. The Beach and a luxury hotel with Spar and Golf Course are within 10 minutes walk. The Coast Path runs east along the cliffs for miles to Par and beyond. To the west, the path drops gently along the edges of fields to Georgetown's historic village harbour, around 20 minutes walk. IN THE AREA -- The Eden Project with the worlds largest indoor Rain-forest is 15 minutes drive. St Austell town centre has a large shopping area and parking about 10 minutes drive. The coastline has dramatic cliffs and sheltered bays, some with charming villages, others with beautiful beaches. In-land there are the moors, dramatic views of old tin mines, and endless possibilities for keen walkers.
