Welcome to our one-of-a-kind accommodation option in Downtown St. Augustine! If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay, you've come to the right place. Our property has undergone a Peace, Love & Happiness-inspired renovation, and the results are truly extraordinary. We poured our love into every piece of this build.

As soon as you step inside, you'll be captivated by the artistry that went into creating this space. Local artisans poured their talent into crafting the handmade kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and out of state crafters handmade the beds and headboards. The centerpiece of the kitchen is an exquisite red cedar epoxy island countertop, a true work of art in itself, created by a local St. Augustine crew.

One of the most eye-catching features is the wall adorned with the renowned "Spread Love" graffiti and a stunning St. Augustine mural greeting you outside, which sets the tone for the entire space. This graffiti art not only adds a unique character to the property but also serves as a constant reminder of the positive vibes and love that permeates your stay here.

The outside space is appropriately named The Bamboo Garden. In the corner you'll find tall bamboo, with colorful bottle caps lining the ground underneath. A picnic table, games, and cafe lights lend to a peaceful break from touring the city.

Our property is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience, a celebration of art, love, and positivity. We invite you to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere we've created, and to explore the vibrant city of St. Augustine, knowing that you can always return to your peaceful and eclectic sanctuary. IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Need more space? In the front of the property we have a separate Vacation Rental. Separate parking and entrances, and no shared space. We welcome your friends or family to book our Artsy, 2 bed/2 bath Cottage that sleeps 4-6 guests! Guests will find 2 King en suites, plus an additional twin over full Renovation Hardware bunk bed in the second suite. A delightful screened in porch separates the two suites. In front, is a porch with 2 rocking chairs. Life is Good!

Amazing house for an amazing weekend
The house was absolutely beautiful, perfectly matched the pictures online. It was super clean, all the designs and layout were well thought out, Wendy and David were very friendly and quick to respond. Absolutely hope to stay here in the future again, 5/5 stars.

Blown away, such a fun place.
I booked the Art house for a weekend getaway with some buddies, and this place exceeded all our expectations. The online photos are stunning, but nothing compares to walking through the door and being instantly immersed in the inviting atmosphere. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a vibe that’s both cool and relaxing. The property itself is beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance of all the best spots in St. Augustine. We felt right at home, and it was the perfect backdrop for our adventures. I can’t recommend this place enough—definitely planning to return! 10 out of 10 stars!

Sisters get away with Dad!
We had a great time. This is the best rental we have ever booked! It was very clean and thoroughly stocked. Everyday we discovered something new! It was so much fun looking at the details and decor of the unit. It’s a very convenient safe location. We walked to coffee shops and stores were less than 1 mile. Would book there again!

Spectacular home! Once in a lifetime!! Just DO IT!!!
Vrbo doesn’t even come close to showing how spectacular this place was!! Almost like a museum, such attention to detail!! Awesome Accommodations
As soon as we entered we were amazed with the artwork and attention to detail in every room. The location was perfect as we were close to restaurants, downtown, and the beach. If this wasn’t our first visit to St Augustine, I would’ve been content to spend more time relaxing at this property. However, I was overruled as my family had other thoughts of the beach, sightseeing, and shopping. Quirky fun gem in the heart of St. Augustine
What a great stay we had in St. Augustine and the Art House. The place was absolutely adorably fun and quirky and immaculate when we arrived. Two girlfriends and myself stayed and had more than enough space. Would be perfect for a group of friends or several family members with the three large bedrooms. It did not have much of an outdoor area, if that's what you're looking for, but it wasn't a necessity for our trip. It was in a great location, just north of the downtown historic distance, which was within a walking area of 1 mile. It was a short 15 minute drive to several incredible beaches and attractions. The hosts were extremely responsive and even answered our texts later on the evening we arrived to insure we made it there and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Not just an ArtHouse
This house certainly had amazing art- but it could also be described with words like love, peace, happiness, kindness- it exuded all things good! Everyday we stayed was like a treasure hunt- did you see the lamp made of cassette tapes or the faces in the bathroom tile? We loved every minute of it! Aside from all the joy, this home has so many thoughtful high end conveniences like sound machines in every room and little necessities in case you forgot something. They thought of everything down to designated makeup washcloths and it all worked perfectly together! Wendy and David clearly cut no corners when designing this space! We will 100% be back.

We love the Arthouse!! ❤️
My whole family loved the arthouse! It’s such a fun, energetic, colorful space, and done so tastefully that it’s a joy just to spend time there. We were all finding beautiful new details all week. It’s wonderfully spacious, with lots of room to spend time together, but also plenty of room to spread out and get some down time if all the family togetherness gets exhausting. It was perfect for us with our 4 kids ranging from 9-17 and with my father-in-law joining us as well. The location is awesome too: just a short drive to the beach, walking distance to lots of fun shops and places to eat, and a little bit longer walk or short drive to St Augustine’s historic sites. Also- I couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were quick to respond to any questions or issues and even went above and beyond, letting me know we were welcome to take the beach chairs and cooler from the garage on our beach outings. If I could rate this place higher, I would!! Simply amazing!!

Wendy & David’s ArtHouse is hands down the best rental property we have ever stayed in (and we’ve stayed in many)! The space is a work of art, and conveys the vibe of St. Aug in all its meticulous detail. Privacy, cleanliness, comfortability, amenities, necessities were all above and beyond. The outdoor shower!!! I showered indoor only once during our 5 night stay, the indoor showers are gorgeous, but I loved looking up at the trees and hearing the birds while using the shower outdoors. Our daughter is a fine arts major at Flagler College, and brought her roommates by to see the place, they were in awe of the place. Needless to say we loved our stay, and will absolutely stay at The ArtHouse again. I fully intended to add a “love lock” to the entrance fence, and some artwork to the sign in book, but I ran out of time, (We were moving my daughter to a new house for next semester). Next time! Such an amazing place!
The Art House is definitely our new go-to place to stay in St Augustine! It’s like a huge artists loft has been picked up out of a city and dropped into the middle of St Augustine. While it is artsy, it is done tastefully and feels comfortable and welcoming. We would have loved to pick the whole place up and take it with us to be our new home. It is just far enough outside of everything to be quiet, but close enough to walk everywhere. The place was immaculate, it smelled clean and didn’t stink of chemical air fresheners (which I’m allergic to) and the hosts are very responsive. We look forward to returning. Oh, if you hear a knocking on the window in the king bedroom, it’s a tufted titmouse. He came to visit every morning. Next time I think we will bring some black safflower seeds to treat him. 😊

Perfect in every way!
Our stay was priceless. The property was amazing and so fun. Our teenage boy, 9 year old daughter and my husband and I loved the decor. Every day you saw something new. The provided shampoo & conditioner was salon quality and the home was so well stocked. The location was great and walkable to old downtown, shops and restaurants. All around this is the best vacation rental I’ve had in years. The host was responsive and checked to ensure we had everything we needed!

Extraordinary experience
The Art House in St. Augustine was great!!! This has got to be the #1 VRBO in the city for any family or group that is coming to do the tourist thing. 1. In the house there was unique local art at every turn. Literally. The wall, the shower, the bed, the fridge… fun, fun, fun 2. It’s close to everything… we drove into town but if you want to save on parking you could easily walk. 3. Everything was as advertised. The hosts made you feel like a VIP without having ever run into them. All was clean and the supplies were extra. Great place all around. Zero regrets on picking the Art House. It was Extraordinary!

Coolest Rental Ever
This place was by far the cutest and coolest rental I have ever stayed at. Rented it for my friend's bachelorette weekend & everyone was obsessed. Plenty of space for a group of 5 and plenty of picture opportunities. On top of that, Wendy & David made sure we enjoyed our stay & the communication/check-in process was a breeze. Fantastic
Our stay at The Art House was nothing short of spectacular. The hosts made our stay simple; they went above and beyond. Literally, all we needed to bring were toothbrushes and clothes. The house is a work of art; every hour we noticed more unique details. Spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet except for the local train on occasion. Beds are comfy, showers are big and lots of hot water. Kitchen is great. Felt very safe and secure. The location is awesome; a nice 10 minute walk to the heart of St. Augustine Old City. If our son decides to attend college in the area, we will be back!
