Carriage House
Very quaint and cozy little place. The inside was clean, but the outside could use a little sprucing up and clean up. I would stay again as it was close to the Historical district.

Great Location
Stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. It's a quirky, charming old house, and the location is wonderful - on a quiet street, with ample parking in the front, and easily walkable to downtown. One issue the wifi password emailed to us with other instructions was incorrect. We called, were told that the password given was the right one but that someone would call us back the next day. Never heard a word for the rest of the stay. However, we were able to locate the correct password on the modem. Just fyi for future renters, but the lack of communication was disappointing.

Loved this home!
The minute we walked in all we felt was total relaxation. It has all the Old Florida charm we could have asked for. So close to St George Street that waking was a breeze. The site was very true to the home. Would happily go back and I hope to soon!

Perfect location for Nights of Lights
We had a great time at this historic home. It is in the BEST location for walking to Night of lights and all that fun down that are of town. It was also in walking distance of the Distillery and Winery which were fun. The house is old, it is historic, so it is small and older. We loved it but did not realize it would be that old so just make sure you realize that but is is was wonderful.

Cutest little house ever, lots of space inside though. Walkable to all the fun downtown. if the keypad locks you out, Google the lock name which is on the front of it, and it will answer all your questions.

Overall Disappointment
The property was tired and musty smelling and in need of a total refresh. The furnace didn't work (we couldn't turn it on) and it was very cold - I slept in my winter coat to stay warm. We had no blankets, only a thin coverlet on each bed. The property manager didn't respond to our three desperate phone calls and emails on the day of arrival that we had no heat. The property info manual said they would respond to any issues withing 24-48 hours but call a certain number if it was a heating or plumbing issue. We did, to no avail. We were disconnected twice when on hold and couldn't leave a message until the third call. When "James" responded the following afternoon he mansplained that I didn't know how to work a furnace (of course I do), and then said that visitors can't expect bed blankets for times when the weather turns cold becuase those times are brief. There was not one blanket in the unit. Someone did come and fix the furnace the second evening and brought three blankets, one per bed. The windows aren't sealed, the property is in need of fresh paint in each room, the furniture in the living room is quite uncomfortable to sit on. The property fences are broken and falling down. The property is umkempt. My bed pillows were thin and smelled of body sweat. The two bathrooms are old and in need of updating. There are electrical cords/extention cords that were under the wall to wall carpeting - such a fire hazard. The only positive about the property was its location.

Love St. Augustine, but this house needs work
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed in several things. First, we didn't get check in info, we had to email and call multiple times on check in day and finally got access info after the scheduled check in time. The house should be a gem, but it's not. The first floor has different levels of flooring, the larger of the two bedrooms has areas where the floor is lumpy under the carpet, that room needs to be brought up to the flooring level of the hallway. The bathroom was updated on the first floor and it was the best part of the whole house. The side deck is so bad it felt like you would fall through when you walked on it. Upstairs, the kitchen is in need of updating, the counters are a combination of types. The whole interior needs fresh paint and fresh flooring. The carpet was very old and dirty. We found candy wrappers and even food on the floor in the living room. A water bottle with cigarette butts was left on the 2nd floor deck. Nearly all of the decor felt like junk that was no longer wanted and just stuck there. This house with its historical value and location should be a gem but it's not. It could be with a lot of needed repairs and thought in the decor. Just because a house is old doesn't mean it can't be updated, nothing in there felt like well preserved historical items, it just felt neglected. Management needs to do an inspection and make recommendations to the owner.

A Summery Winter Retreat
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our experience was positive with a few caveats. Having brought our bicycles, we were able to see all of historic St Augustine. We never tired of riding through Lincolnville seemingly seeing new things each and every ride. But the property is in walking distance of many of the historic sites and buildings. We took many walks to restaurants, museums, and galleries. Pay attention to local events such as the Lions Seafood Festival. Wish we knew of the St Augustine Amphitheater. Many concerts with great performers e.g. Willy NelsonThe carriage house is beautifully decorated. The rooms are small but comfortable. And the porch was a welcome spot to rest, observe nature, and watch the tourists and Flagler college students going to and fro. The kitchen fully equipped and cooking friendly with everything you might need including a Growler for beer from the Dog Rose Brewery around the corner. A filtered water spigot in the sink was a nice feature. Beds were comfortable. AC and heat easily controllable and fans in every room. The outdoor seating area was not usable as the wooden deck is broken and needs replacement. And the grounds were covered with leaves from the huge live oak tree on the corner of the building. Around the 5th week of our stay, landscapers came and cleaned, but wind and leaf fall covered the area in a short time. The landscaper said they came every 2 weeks. We only saw them that one time. The rattan furniture in the living room is old and uncomfortable. An upgrade would help. There were tv's and cable/streaming apps in every bedroom with many channels available. In one room, the cable box was not working. We never called because we didn't use that room but for a few short guest stays. The management company responded to an early call to add a day, but never once checked in on us to see how things were going. We didn't really need them, but it would have been a nice gesture. We would recommend this place for short or long term rent

St Aug 3 bedroom rental, good, not great
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Door code did not work, could not get into house for 1 1/2 hours. Wi-Fi password not exactly right. House fairly clean and old south charm with small rooms, second floor kitchen and dining. No problems with HVAC, electric or plumbing. Overall condition good.Outside is not much but quiet and away from street. Side deck is in bad shape, needs replacement. So roomy with 3 bedrooms, good inside , not good outside, excellent location for historic district, parking for 3 cars. Please get front door lock issue resolved.

Overall amazing property
Great location. Perfect size for us...3 adults and 1 teen. The only issue regarding cleanliness was it appeared that the cleaners did not come prior to our stay. We had to clean dirty dishes in the sink, dirty linens had to be laundering and bed made and bathroom needed to be cleaned prior to us just chilling. This was NOT a deal breaker, these things happen.... this was a GREAT property, perfectly located within walking distance of just about everything worth doing and less than a 5 minute drive to mainstream shopping. We'll be back and we highly recommend!!

Girls Weekend for Night of Lights
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Learned this carriage house was built in 1883 and converted to a residence in 1923. Would be great if pictures were hanging on the walls to show what the building looked like during this period. The house is located within easy walking to St George shopping and restaurant area. Also on the hop on hop off Trolley Tour route and several historical sites.
