We checked in between 4:00 and 4:30 pm and were assigned a room that had not been cleaned. After a considerable wait, we were reassigned to a room on a different floor. The ice bucket in the room was filthy. There was a notice that the rooms were only cleaned or restored every three days. We were given two bath towels, two washcloths and no hand towels. This was supposed to last for three days. The third day, I asked a cleaning person for more towels, and she told me that all the towels were in the dryer and she would bring some to our room when they were done. Fresh towels were never delivered. The body wash bottle in the shower was empty. There were no cups in the room. The 4th floor ice machine was broken. There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. I want coffee when I get out of bed, not after I get dressed and go to the lobby to get it. Additionally, I drink at least three cups of coffee every morning and I want to drink it in bed while I watch tv. If I get more than one cup of coffee in the lobby and take them back to the room, they are cold by the time I’ve finished my first cup and there is no microwave to reheat them. If I have leftovers from a restaurant meal and want to have them as a midnight snack, I have to get dressed and go to the lobby to reheat it. This is totally unacceptable. There was a charge for parking even though the information for the hotel said there was free parking.
