Welcome to "The Gem" uptown King bedroom apt!It features a king-sized bed with small walking space and original art on the wall and an updated private bathroom that consist of necessary amenities for light packing travelers. This stylish suite is full of light and good vibes, perfect for a romantic couples retreat or solo adventurer. Enjoy your stay and complimentary coffee & tea next to the mini fridge and microwave! We also have Hulu and Netflix which you can get to from the Roku homepage.

Welcome to “Vintage” Florida!
We are just off the beaten path, so you may hear activity early in the morning to late at night….It is a vibrant town!
Our blue home is next to a vacant business with access to parking behind the home as well as the front.
We are conveniently located next to US -1 (which is a busy road; apologies for disturbance ) easy on street parking or behind home. While we are sharing the property with other guests, it is important that guests respect each other. House rules are enforced! Quiet Hours 10pm-8am


Enter through the right courtyard through white side gate. Entry to unit is at the end of the home; up the stairs and to the right to Unit 3. This king suite has a small front-side deck. Keypad entry for self check in. Turn lock immediately after putting in door code. To lock, door code and turn lock. If the light is green but does not turn correctly please give it a minute and try again. Turn lock immediately after putting door code.

The "Gem" is a king bedroom situated in a multi-family house that has a shared garden with seating and tables for guests to enjoy an outdoor experience. The property has a total of five units with private entrances and is conveniently located next to busy US-1. The location is a few blocks away from the best uptown restaurants and shops, and within walking distance to downtown historical sites. It's a 10-minute walk to the fort and 15 minutes to St. George S. Free street parking is available in front and 40-amp EV charging in the back and extra spaces. The beach is only a 10-minute drive away. You can bring your furry friends along for the ride (limit 2 pets) for a small fee of $25 cash; No cats or other animals allowed on property.

Walking is best, however bike, scooters, three wheelers rentals are available. Touristy town with trollies just a few blocks away or call a pedi-cab to pick you up at the front of the property!
Bikes are available for only guests staying on the property. Me'Lieu Property management is not liable for injuries when you ride off the property. Please inspect bicycles before riding. Please use and return with care. *report any damages for necessary repairs*
Parking Down Town 2.50 per hour, free after 5 pm and Sunday
Parking garage (1 Cordova St) $20 a day
If transportation is needed please call me for assistance.

-Close bottles of wine or tie bags with open cans/bottles to keep bugs from coming in.
**Cleaners may forget things as there are other units/properties, so please let me know what we could drop off or if we could fix areas that may need attention. Apologies in advance and thank you for your understanding as we want to provide a wonderful experience as a growing small business.
We enforce pet fees for guests traveling with emotional support animals. If a guest refuses to pay, we will not allow the emotional support animal to stay. Picture of Pet fur will be reported and Airbnb will contact guests unwilling to comply with our policies.

Sweet Stay in St Augustine
Our accommodation was perfect for the two of us and our pup. Great location and an easy 20 minute walk to the heart of old town St Augustine. Very safe area with a very well appointed rental unit. Super happy that our host had provided a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We really enjoyed our stay!

Neighborhood is quiet and close to all major attractions. Home is attractive with private parking, a mini fridge, and private courtyards. The room was adequate size and the bed was comfortable. The host was very responsive and communicated well. However, the property has aged since the pictures were taken. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning of the walls, grout and shower tile to clear the mildew/mold accumulated in the wet areas. I shared these concerns with the host upon check-out, but this one time I didn’t receive any response. I sincerely hope they address these concerns because we would book this home exclusively when we are in town.

Secluded Place Near the Historic Center
This was a small space in a large blue house with 6 individually accessed units, perfect for couples, in a quaint, secluded neighborhood within easy walking distance of the Historic Center. This was great since free parking in the center is very sparse. We wound our way along the narrow streets of a sweet neighborhood to arrive at Fort San Marcos without having to walk on busy avenues. The neighborhood itself has its delights; a full moon block party was organized by a nearby store called The Widow Abbott. St Augustine Beach is also a 10 to 15-minute drive. The room was clean and pretty, recently remodeled. The shower was hot. Check-in was a breeze. Everything was as advertised, fairly priced, and Suyen was available via text and phone to provide any additional information we needed. We met her outside once during our stay as she was tidying up the common area outside. She was super pleasant. The negatives: We opened the blinds behind the TV in the mornings to allow plenty of light, but the next-door neighbors could ostensibly look in (they didn't). The January weather had been cool and damp just previous to our stay; perhaps that is why a couple of mosquitoes hovered in our room. The bed is comfortable, a bit soft-ish, and very squeaky if you get frisky. This is a great value and great for anyone who likes to walk around and explore!

A lot of good things to say about this property. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Also the bathroom and shower were updated and clean. We text the host a couple of times and got a response immediately. check in was easy and directions clear. The location is great if you want to explore the historic district. While we were there a grill with supplies was left for anyone to use, nice touch. A few things we thought could be improve... the loose and uneven paver walking through the garden, we both tripped walking in the first time. The lighting is good in the garden and parking but the walkway going between the two could use some light especially with the uneven walkway. We noticed the smoke detector was missing in the room. Overall we had a very nice stay and we were very comfortable. We would book this location again.

A little smaller than I expected but it was clean and nicely decorated. The location was excellent and parking was always available. Nice shower and the bed was comfortable We had a little trouble with the door lock and I messaged the host but never received a reply. Two possible suggestions - provide plastic throw away cups for the bathroom to brush teeth and a box of tissues. Also the paint could be touched up especially in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay.
