The location was great. There are not many people on the beach at this location. It was easy access to the beach. The condo needs an update. It is small but perfect for two people. It was clean just outdated.

Lots of fun!
The Condo was very clean had all the amenities listed and most importantly it had plenty of towels! Even though our stay was short (2 nights) we really enjoyed the location. The beach was awesome and the view was amazing!

It is beautiful there!!!
We had a great time while on vacation. It was great to be able to go to the beach and then just walk back to, what we referred to as, home.. The condo was very nice. It had everything we needed and very comfortable!!!! If I get back that way I'm hopefully going to stay there again.

Winter getaway
I found the unit to be alittle outdated but that being said price and responsiveness clearly made up for it. The WiFi and bedroom tv were a challenge but if the weather had cooperated it wouldn’t have mattered. The unit owners were always quick to respond and even went out of their way to alert us to a rocket launch that could be seen from our porch. Overall I give this vacation a 5 and looking forward to next years return.

Condo matched pictures and description. View is very nice from balcony. Unit had all your basic needs for a nice vacation at the beach. Owners were fast to reply and book. Cresant beach is beautiful and about 25 min drive to downtown St. Augustine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and well maintained. It’s very small, which adds to the comfort, coziness, and relaxation factor. It is perfect for a couple. If you have more people, you may find find it a bit small. The view is amazing, and proximity to the beach couldn’t be better. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Probably will!

Great getaway on the beach!
We were visiting family in St. Augustine, and this condo was just the place for the two of us. The unit was directly downstairs from the pool, washer and dryer was two doors down, and the best part was the patio with the Beach View! It had everything one needed for a relaxing beach vacation! The condo was equipped with everything, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The owners were very pleasant, and responded quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend Beachers Lodge, and would definitely go back again!

Cozy condo with amazing views!
We traveled with our 2-year-old and had a great beach getaway! Unit is close to the pool and boardwalk, yet you don’t hear any of the pool noise from the condo. It was within walking distance of several restaurants. The kitchen is a bit on the smaller side, but I don’t imagine people come to St. Augustine to stay in and cook. We got up twice to watch the sunrise over the ocean...I’d definitely give the view a 10! We hope to stay again!

Badly in need of an update
The location is amazing, the view unbelievable. The space is small and incredibly full of things. Unfortunately I really struggle with clutter so the space bothered me. The furniture is threadbare and the bathtub is in bad shape, really bad shape but the shower head works well. This condo is in dire need of an update..very few kitchen materials. We won't stay again.

"Nice Ocean View...Lots Of Dirty Laundry, But A Great Daytona 500!"
I was not going to write a review but I keep receiving emails asking me to. My wife and I had originally booked this condo for seven nights. We had to cancel our reservation in Daytona Beach a week earlier though no fault of ours. We then booked an "extra" four days at this condo. Realizing we were going to have a LOT of laundry, this owner told us he would leave us "a roll of quarters to get us started". I do NOT mean to be picky, but a deal is a deal. The owners were present when we checked in. They did not mention "a roll of quarters" before they left. We found no evidence of a roll of quarters. I did NOT feel it was my or my wife's obligation to ask. Later, in an email, he "apologized in our meeting each other" (whatever he meant by that). I feel he should have been more responsible and remembered to uphold his promise, but, no! He also admitted he "neglected to make good on a promise to me". This sounds so silly, but, as I said earlier, "a deal is a deal" and we feel as if we had been duped and lied to (what do you think?)! This condo COULD HAVE been a nice yearly vacation for us (a little old, outdated and crowded, but...ANYWAY, on the POSITIVE side, we enjoyed the Florida weather and the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup racing in Daytona. Oh, well...review completed. Thank you.

Fantastic location. Fantastic view. Great beach and heated pool.
Location is fantastic as is the view. Only twenty minutes from the city yet you see beautiful starry nights and gorgeous sunrises. The vegetation in front is really nice and the proximity to the pool and boardwalk to the beach gave us just the right share of privacy. You can walk for miles along the beach. The bed is very comfortable as were the sheets and pillows. The kitchen was equipped with a blender and coffee maker and soap, shampoos, toilet paper, paper towel, aluminum foil and spices, all of which was appreciated. The living room TV was a good size and the wall mounting saved floor space. The cable/satellite was appreciated. Good supply of beach items such as toys and surfboard and floats. We suggested that the owners reduce the abundant stock of towels to allow for more storage space for guests. Be aware that the kitchen in this unit is tiny but not perfectly formed. The lack of counter space takes a bit of juggling, but nothing that a two-armed cook can't deal with. At one time, I'm sure, it was well-equipped but, alas, after many renters coming and going, the stock of dishes and equipment has got a bit out of whack. Don't be like us: check to see that you have the tools you need before you start cooking. The fridge could use an update as well as the tub. The resort itself had only two washers and two dryers which we found inadequate but that is no fault of the owner. The table was nice to eat at and good space for four. The balcony could use more comfortable seating and a round cafe table. Dresser and nightstand storage space in the bedroom was suitable. The resort itself while older is well maintained. The hosts provided excellent prompt customer service and have advised us that they will be updating in the future. We will be back!

Great hosts, condo in need of cleaning
Let me start by saying the hosts for this property were so kind. From booking to checkout, they were responsive and helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on as well. We stayed at the condo for five nights with our infant child and shepherd mix dog, so I know the cleaning afterward was rough (our dog sheds a lot!). They didn't blink an eye or tell us we couldn't bring our dog. We had a very relaxing time. The condo did look like the pictures, and the views off the balcony were superb. The air conditioning ran great the entire time. The oven/stove/fridge all worked perfectly as well. Beach toys= awesome. That said, there were a few areas of the condo that were pretty dirty. The white towels in the bathroom had long, black hairs on them when we arrived. I know the towels were clean because they smelled fresh and almost bleach-like, but the hairs were off-putting. I know a previous reviewer mentioned long, black hairs and I wrote it off because no one else mentioned them, but I counted probably five or six. Eventually I just gathered up some towels and beach towels and rewashed them. The kitchen also had a few areas that were dirty. 1) I pulled a paper bowl out of the stack in the cabinet and it was crusted with some type of yellow food. Like someone had eaten out of it and put it back. 2) Under the convection oven were crumbs, and when I went to clean under there to prevent ants I found a bottle cap as well. 3) the freezer was not clean, and there was a long, black hair there as well. The porch furniture smelled like it had been in a smoker's home. Nothing inside smelled like smoke, so I'm guessing the furniture was used, or the people who smoked on the first floor did so often enough that the wood had taken on the smell. It was strong enough that I didn't enjoy sitting out there the first day or so. We purchased a delicious-smelling candle that we burned inside and out the rest of our stay, and that helped the smell. We also purchased a bottle of disinfecting spray to use anywhere our baby would be and on the kitchen counters. Of lesser importance was the fact that there was dust on quite a few surfaces, such as the shelf above the coffee maker. I know these things sound nitpicky, and perhaps they are. We have a house cleaner at home, and if our cleaner missed the details I described here she would be replaced. So my recommendation would be to hire a new cleaner and to have the condo deep-cleaned at least once a season.
