Beautiful panoramic views of the ocean! The location was perfect, not too busy and dog friendly beach. The house is built extremely well, nice floorplan. We had the best time!
Great house and responsive experience from Patty and Harry. This house is on the beach, has 4 bedrooms, and a huge deck patio. Beach was very private and clean. Also, Harry gave great restaurant recommendations, Viola’s is fantastic!
This property is all about the beach. If you are looking for privacy …this is the place! You just can’t find this kind of location very often! The house is nice, but the linens could use an update, and the half of chairs at the dining table had broken backs. The sofa is in need of replacement also. All that being said, I would definitely stay here again. You just can’t beat the privacy and the beach access.
Nice house. Beachfront and its a nice swimmable beach. House is exactly like the pictures. We would have no hesitancy to taking it again next summer if we return to that area
This house is located directly on the beach a short drive down a dead end sand road. There is no traffic and few neighbors, you have the beach all to yourself. The views of the ocean are stellar. My only complaint is that the bedding and towels should be upgraded. Note that there is no shower in the master bath, only a tub. None of that seemed important given the beautiful beach.
First and foremost, I loved Patty! She helped us so much making sure we had a great place to stay for our Christmas holiday. Nantucket Beach House is perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and very well equipped for your start to stay there. We will defiantly be back for another stay. Thank you, Kathy Randolph
Perfect place to get kids together. Ocean, beach, lovely house, near Marineland and St. Augustine for distractions.
When we got there, the elevator didnt work and 2 of us near 80, weren't going to lug everything up 30 stairs. Erin came to our rescue and was terrific. Thanks so much. Elevator was working by the time we left.
We decided at the very last minute to go out of town for our anniversary. I chose the St Augustine area and this house popped up in my search. It is DIRECTLY on the beach with 4x4 access only!!!!!!! We had what felt like our very own slice of beach with an amazing ocean view! The house was very clean and the pictures totally represent the house very accurately. We sat on the expansive deck with our coffee in the morning and our cocktails in the evening. Being in this house was absolutely amazing and we would 100% go back!
This was a great vacation spot for my family. A hurricane came in near the end of our trip and the house felt really safe. Patty offered up another nearby property which we declined because we were leaving before the worst of the hurricane was supposed to happen. The "road" to the house was tough to manage. There was a lot of flooding, and it probably hadn't been fully restored since Ian. The neighbors were really helpful though, and we met a really nice towing person. It was really eventful, but all things considered, we had a great stay. I'd definitely stay here again.
The views are amazing. The beach is very private we saw more dolphins than people. The house was clean and everything functioned properly. There where plenty of house ware for our family of 6. Elevator is so helpful for getting your stuff up and down. This house is very cool and kids from 16-8 thought it was the best. We had a couple small issues but like I said Patty and Team were quick to respond and take care of them. There were a few things I would recommend the master bed is hard as a rock. More out door seating there is a huge wrap around porch that had 2 chairs. A nice high top with chairs would be awesome out there. We had a really great time and would definitely recommend.
Great location. Beach is closest to a private beach you can find. Literally there were more turtle nests than people at any given time on the beach. Low tide brought great sandy beach. There is an elevator that is slow but a great asset. There were sufficient chairs on a deck that if it was half it's size I would call expansive...wrapped around 3 sides of the house with great views. There is an assortment of beach toys, including 4 almost new boogie boards and 5 or 6 camp chairs. No gas grill, but a full size charcoal grill suited our needs. Oddly the master bath has a great tub, but no shower. The kitchen is well equipped. The center stairwell divides the house with 2 BR and a jack-n-jill bath on the north side; and everything else on the south side. This provided a great place for our toddler grandchild to have separation at nap times from the main living areas. Rarely did we see more than 4 or 5 people on the entire beach...truly away from it all; but a 5 minute drive from almost anything. Wife did Swim with the Dolphins at Marineland....that's a Don't Miss (within walking distance). Just quoting my wife "They had everything we needed and more"
We loved staying at this house. The location on the beach is priceless! We had the beach to ourselves. Patty and harry were great at quickly responding to all our questions before and during our stay.
I read the reviews before hand and saw comments about the towels needing to be updated. When we stayed last week the towels were basically brand new and lots of them.
The elevator was a life saver for unloading all our luggage. The layout of the house worked perfect for us especially because we have two kids under two that needed naps throughout the day. The rooms with the Jake and Jill bathroom on one side of the house is where they stayed.
The one few things I would mention… parking under the house you need 4-wheel drive. Refrigerator didn’t produce ice. And the water Spicket on the deck was rushed so we had to use pliers to turn on and off the water.
Definitely would recommend staying here! Family is already looking at next year beach trip here :)
If you like privacy, this is the house for you. Please make sure you have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle! The house is beautiful with an open floor plan, plenty of space, and stunning ocean views from floor to ceiling. It has 4 bedrooms. One side is just the 2 bedrooms and a jack-and-jill bathroom. I feel the Master bedroom SHOULD have a king-size bed and a SHOWER (it just has a large garden tub). I feel a few more nice chairs on the beautiful, large deck 2 stories up would be a nice addition as well as some different beach chairs. All in all, I would highly recommend this beautiful house.
Beach is steps from the front door. The ocean is in front of you and the intercoastal is right behind you; so from your porch you get to see both sun rises and sun sets. Beach is great for small children because it is flat and big. The house and furniture are clean, kitchen well stocked, and everything works. You need a 4x4 or AWD to access the house; but this means you have endless beach all to yourself. Our Subaru Outback and Honda Ridgeline had no problems. Quickest shopping is a Publix about 11 minutes south on A1A. Flagler is only 20 minutes south which had old Florida charm and fun places to eat; and Old St. Augustine, only 25 minutes north, is a must do destination to eat and wonder the almost 500-year-old streets. And since we had our own great beach in front of our house it may sound goofy to say, but we had a lot of fun with the grandchildren playing at the public beach about a mile north of us because it was a peninsula that you could walk from the intercoastal though the channel to the ocean. This house gave us the vacation us beach lovers were looking for.
