Staff was incredibly friendly, beds were comfortable. Just need better curtains in the windows because the outside lights were shining in and it was hard to sleep. Great location and awesome homemade breakfast! I would stay again!

This is a pleasant old-fashioned style of motel in a great location. It's on the river, east end of the Bridge of Lions, easy walk to downtown St. Aug. The breakfast included egg casserole, sausage, and fruit plus cereal, bread/muffins, coffee, tea, and juice; all served in a bright spacious waterfront room. Our room (w king bed) overlooked the water, too, with a door leading to a nice deck. We'll stay here again.

Best hideaway in St Augustine

Pleasantly surprised! A one night anniversary getaway with my wife, till Hurricane Helene invited herself... Few minute walk over the Bridge of Lions to downtown St Augustine - but many places were closed due to the approaching storm. Hotel gave us an upgrade to a waterfront room. Glass of wine overlooking the river. Hotel staff were SO nice and accommodating. Rooms and lobby are updated and spotless! Nice morning breakfast overlooking the river. Will Definitely return!
