A getaway in the heart of St Augustine
This loft was such a spectacular find — it’s modern, pristine and very conveniently located near downtown. We loved borrowing the bikes for a sunset ride around the nearby park before an amazing dinner at Ice Plant, a short 5 min walk away. Relaxing in the lush and private backyard was the perfect way to unwind after a long midday outing around town. Outdoor shower also a plus! Mark and Tanja were fantastic hosts, offering helpful suggestions and generally going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends!

Very whimsical property, kind of stops there. Far walk to the Historical area. Sleeping accommodations were prison like. NO clean linen. Just a basket of old blankets with a sign , For you Dog...... A bit bazar, no shower curtain in bath , no TV directions. Started our purchase with Expedia, that went to EVOLVE, that went to VRBO. hidden cost got us over our budget. The Kicker was the directions to " Clean up , throw out your trash, & strip the beds & pile the dirty linen ( Which we didn't have any but a dirty bottom mattress cover). OR their will be another cleaning charge . Would only recommend to young couples with dogs...

Good but needs some upgrades
There were a lot of good things about this rental. The location was great. We brought our bikes but if you don’t they have bikes for you to ride. It’s about a 5 minute ride to the downtown historic area. The place was super clean and nicely decorated. Now where the upgrades are needed: bedding! There were two super thin pillows, a fitted sheet, no flat sheet, and a thin blanket that barely covered the bed. Some nicer bedding would make a world of difference. Also, this place has some really high windows with no window covers. I realize there’s not much to be done about that as the windows are oddly shaped and I’m sure hard to cover, but just a suggestion if you’re going to stay here: bring an eye mask for sleeping. We were awake bright and early with the sun every morning, not exactly relaxing. Also, this is not the place for the accident prone. Aside from the very steep stairs to the loft bedroom area, the roof slopes above the bed and since the walls are white it’s hard to see the sloped roof. I banged my head on the roof at least twice. And lastly, the shower/bathtub. The bathtub is huge and beautiful and perfect for soaking in. If you want to take a shower though, well that’s easier with a buddy. The shower sprayer has a hose so you can take it off and hold it to shower with but there’s no holder on the wall to hang the sprayer on so you have to hold it yourself (or get a buddy to hold it for you while you shower). And there’s no shower curtain so the water will go everywhere. There is also an outdoor shower but it’s across the yard from the rental and the owners were in the backyard a few times so it’s not exactly private. All in all, not a bad place to stay, I would even consider staying again if a few upgrades were made and as long as I remember to bring my eye mask.

Beautiful house and close to just about everything. In the morning we walked to the Blue Hen for breakfast. In the evening we walked to the distillery for dinner and a drink. Loved the cozy and clean atmosphere. Mark was quick to respond when we needed help. The only thing - and this is less of a complaint and more of an observation - was that the staircase leading up to the loft was very steep and only had one railing. Might not be the best fit for some people. Other than that, we loved our stay. Would book again!

Great location in St Augustine
We loved our stay at this property! It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The only downside was there are no curtains in the bedroom or bathroom area and the tub (which was absolutely beautiful) has no stand up shower feature. The owners were always around to help us if we needed and are very friendly!

It's a shame I could only give them 5 stars for cleanliness. By far the cleanest and best smelling place we've stayed! Perfect location for historic tourism. We walked from the loft to everything we had planned, and the included parking spot was appreciated.

The place was very nice, clean and new. The stars going up to the loft were very steep and the bed was not comfortable. Everything else was perfect, including the outdoor area. It is shared with the property owners, but it felt private enough.

Cozy and pleasant, great location.
I rented this somewhat last minute and am thrilled that they had an opening. The owners were very accommodating and accessible via text and email (I never needed to call). Great for two people and two dogs. Appreciated the ability to bring them. Easy access and good parking. Private. Clean. Updated. Comfy. Pleasant yard area. Nice size fridge. Only small toaster oven. Don’t recall a microwave but there was an electric pitcher for heating water. Some plates and utensils. Stairs to loft are a bit steep. Couch downstairs was comfy. WiFi and tv. No real shower—hand-held shower thingie in Bath tub. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping and leave the car much of the time. About half mile one way. Plus there are bikes, although we didn’t need them. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much.

Weekend in Lincolnville
This was an adorable little house tucked away in Lincolnville, but within walking distance of the Winery, Ice Plant and downtown St. Augustine. I was aware of things going into it, but for some travelers, here are some things I would note. The steps going up to the loft are a little steep, so if you bring pets, I am not sure they will be able to get up and down the steps. We ended up having to carry ours. My husband wasn't watching our Dachshund, and he ended up tumbling down the steps hurting his leg (completely my Husband's fault) so we put a barrier up to avoid further accidents. The loft was fine, and I loved the windows, but my Husband has a very bad back so he didn't sleep well due to the flat mattress. The TV is upstairs in the loft, but we could not get local channels or able to watch anything. That didn't bother me in the least as we just walked downtown to watch a game, but if you plan to just hang out and watch television, this really isn't the place to stay. Last, but not least, if you want coffee first thing in the morning, but don't have the patience to grind the beans or walk to the nearest coffee shop, bring a coffee maker :) All in all, I loved the place! It was relaxing, nicely decorated, and perfect for a weekend when you plan to be out and out the entire time. Check out the Dog Rose Brewery which is right down the street. Cute place with darts, a shuffleboard table and great beer. I would definitely go back to the Lincolnville Loft! I believe they may be putting in a hot tub which would be a great added bonus! Thank you, Banda and Philip
