Waterfront home with dock, heated pool, & spectacular views- walk/bike downtown!

Our 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located on Salt Run. We have a large back patio with outdoor dining and sitting area, 4 lounge chairs with umbrellas, firepit area, putting green with corn hole boards, outdoor ping pong table, a private heated pool, 3 kayaks, and a dock with floating dock for boat access. Fish, swim, kayak or paddleboard right off the dock or use one of our three kayaks to paddle across to Anastasia State Park and walk over to the ocean for an adventure. You can rent a boat (or bring your own) and tie it up at our dock during your stay. After a day of boating, touring the city, or visiting the beach, come back and take a dip in the pool. You can walk to a number of nearby restaurants and bars or even walk/bike to downtown St. Augustine to see the Fort and shop. We are a little less than a mile from the Bridge of Lions. Bring your bike (or use one of our 4) and explore Lighthouse Park and walk up to the top of the lighthouse for beautiful vistas. You are also biking distance to the Amphitheater for great concerts or check out the local Farmers Market there on Saturdays. Bring your camera and take pictures right off the back deck of numerous birds, dolphins, sea turtles and manatees. Collect oysters from across the Inlet or put our crab trap out and cook up some blue crab or your fresh catch for dinner in our fully equipped kitchen. Wake up and enjoy the splendor of the beautiful sunrises while having your morning coffee on the back deck. We welcome you to enjoy our little piece of paradise!
There is a smaller separate rental on the property but it does not share any amenities/spaces. The patio, pool, & dock are solely for main house guests.

A slice of heaven
This property exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The layout offered everyone comfort and privacy. The location is wonderful—1 mile to downtown and the beaches were just minutes away by car. St. Augustine is a gem of a city. Lots of history and wonderful restaurants. We will be back again.

Historic Florida at its Best!
Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay at your comfortable, spacious home overlooking the inlet. It was quiet and peaceful waking to the stunning sunrise each morning and plentiful stars at night. We loved the view of the Lighthouse from the deck, the close proximity to the culture and historic downtown and Anastasia State Park beach. We also enjoyed the many delightful amenities of the house: pool, kayaks, bicycles, putting green, grill and spacious seating indoor and out. We came from as far away as California, St. Louis and Ft. Myers and our adult children and grandchildren all loved it. It is tastefully decorated and provided a great kitchen to make meals. A wonderful vacation getaway!

Awesome family trip to St. Augustine
We stayed at this property with our grown children and grandchildren- 8 adults and 2 small children. The house is perfect! So much space for large groups. Janet went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location was great! We walked to downtown St Augustine and to the beach at the State Park. We also saw dolphins and sea turtles from the dock. We hope to return!!

My family of six stayed at this beautiful home over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautiful - exactly as pictured! Plenty to enjoy at the house. We fished, played ping-pong, bags, enjoyed the pool and having meals outside on the patio - even saw dolphins!! The location is great! Traffic to the downtown can be busy but the home is close enough to walk which is a game changer. Highly recommend!!

Amazing waterfront home! Perfect family vacation.
The home looks even better in person and is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Shannon is very communicative and is there if you need anything. We were able to dock up right at the house which was very convenient for cruising and fishing. The pool was the icing on the cake especially since all the area beaches and attractions were closed. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Location! Location! Location!
This place is absolutely perfect in every way! The view, the house itself, the space, the short distance to the city or attractions on the island and more. We had 8 adults staying for the Christmas holiday so it was a bit too cold to use the pool or kayaks and such but we did rent a boat 1 day since we had the dock to use. We all agreed we wanted to come back in warmer months to leverage all of the activities the home had to offer. Highly recommend!

St Augustine in March for our 11 person group
Loved our 10 day stay. The property absorbed our 9 adult and 2 child/infant group easily. The kitchen is big enough for multiple people cooking and we all sat around the table to eat. The bedrooms are spacious and the sitting areas are perfect for hanging out. The outdoor space is very nice with a pool to cool off in, a fire area for evening wind downs and space for putting and cornhole competitions. We walked to downtown St Augustine a few times (lots of places to eat, shop, listen to live music), the Alligator Farm, miniature golf, and the Lighthouse - the bikes can be a good option for all these too (might want to bring a lock if you want to use them for excursions). More serious shopping, a number of beaches and an array of golf courses are available as well but we used our vehicles for those. The host was great with communications for all instructions and answering questions.

Simply incredible!
When others were skeptical, Janet's home on the inlet enabled our family and friends to come together and make the very most of a tragic event. We will forever treasure the highs (and even lows) of our time spent celebrating our loved one on the patio, the dock, in the pool, in front of the TV, and of course gathered around the dining tables and fire pit. During our days, we had endless unexpected visits from sea and flying creatures... not to mention reliable sunrises and a full moon. No one in our group will ever forget their time on the inlet and exploring St Augustine's attractions nearby. LiveLikeLiza!

Lovely Home, Great Location
This home was terrific! Could not have asked for anything more. Everything we needed was there. Our grandkids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the location and views. We were there for the 4th of July and we were able to watch the big St. Augustine Fireworks show right from the pier. It was awesome watching all the fireworks displays along the waterway without leaving the property. We were also pleased with the walkability of the area. Plenty of food options within walking distance of the home. Was also a pleasant walk to downtown St. Augustine across the Bridge of Lions. Would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to be close to downtown. We had an awesome family vacation!

"Reunited and it feels so good ..." at this Beautiful Salt Run Home
12 friends and family reunited after 3 years and this house, and the cottage next door, fit us to a tee!!!!! We celebrated our Christmas and New Year all together here in this beautifully decorated beach home complete with a fabulous Christmas tree! The layout and size of rooms, the large well- stocked kitchen along with windows & sliders looking east & overlooking the salt run had us never wanting to leave our home away from home! We needed nothing else ... except groceries of course! Our Host, Janet was quick and attentive to respond to all of our queries. Thank you, Janet, for turning up the pool heat for these northerners & for quickly attending to our lock code issue at midnight on New Year's Eve. Hope we didn't wake you! Would absolutely love to stay here again!

Hidden Oasis
We had such a terrific stay at this property. Hard to imagine such a wonderful, hidden oasis being one block from a busy street, but that is exactly what it is. Just such a peaceful and serene home with incredible views that you will not forget, particularly at sunrise. Pictures cannot do it justice. Loved going into town, but quite honestly, hated leaving the house, especially with that heated pool overlooking the water. We also hung out on the dock, seeing all sorts of wildlife, including seagulls, pelicans, birds of prey, ducks, sea turtles, and jelly fish. I am sure the birds hated to see us go because we fed them daily. The house was spotless, communication with Shannon was seamless, master bed was firm and comfortable, kitchen was modern, and the backyard was one you can hang out in endlessly. Also loved the convenience to downtown. Everything we did, and every place we ate was less than 2 miles away. Two recommendations - Blue Hen Café for breakfast and Preserved for dinner. So close to the action, but far enough to allow you to feel like you are in your own isolated world. Expectations were definitely exceeded, and we will definitely be back.

Gorgeous Sunrise, Moonlight on the Water, Dolphins
The property was perfect for our needs. We had seven people staying over, plus three locals that joined us for several meals - plenty of room. Everyone had their own space, plus large enough communal areas. As advertised, we used the bikes, the kayaks, fishing poles, and beach chairs. Nice to have the pool right on the deck. Shannon, quickly answered a couple questions we had. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine and some snacks- much appreciated. Games and puzzles were appreciated as was direct TV to watch a few football games. All kitchen utensils were available - pizza cutter, corkscrew, vegetable peeler, (but no ice cream scoop - but we were ok using a large spoon). Nice appliances, comfortable beds, cleans bathrooms with nice showers. The neighborhood was quiet. You can walk/bike through the Davis Shores neighborhood. Plenty of parking. We were able to kayak next to the dolphins and there was a beautiful full moon during our stay. We spent a great deal of time on the deck overlooking the inlet. It was perfect! I highly recommend the Reel Salt Life and would stay again.

Oozing Coastal Charm
My family of 8 stayed for 7 nights at this wonderful property and loved every minute of it. Inside is comfy and unique with different levels providing privacy for everyone. The 4 upstairs bedrooms share 2 bathrooms and there's a half bath downstairs as well. The sitting area and loft were great places for gathering in smaller groups and the large family room downstairs had room for all of us. The master suite is gorgeous with a full sitting area and direct access to the pool. Outside we spent most nights around the firepit and days in the heated pool where we had full sun until about 4pm. Walking the long dock in the morning we saw sea turtles, dolphin, loads of birds, and used the kayaks to be a part of it all. We had zero luck catching crabs but it was fun to try! The vibe of the marina and inlet is soothing and provides an ever-changing backdrop for a wonderful stay. Strong wifi, plenty of parking for our 4 cars, no shortage of towels for showers and for the pool, access to bikes, and the location mad for easy trips into St Aug for eating, drinking, and sightseeing. Janet, the host, was always available when we had questions and even gifted us tickets to a concert that she was unable to use right down the road. Four of our kids attended and had a fantastic time on our last night. It was so generous and really appreciated! I highly recommend this lovely home for your stay.
