"It was a bit smaller room than other Thon hotels in different cities but still was good. A very small parking lot but s there was an empty spot. Overall very good!."

"This property has fantastic views. Valldal is smaller though so dining options other than the hotel are limited, but the food is delicious. TV seemed to only allow casting but we didn’t go all that way just to watch TV so that was minor. "

"Beautiful town with really nice hiking. This guest house was very comfortable with a very friendly and knowledgeable host. Some of the details on hotels.com are a bit misleading though: there is no spa and the breakfast is actually at a neighbouring hotel (which also has a restaurant with delicious food). There was no TV in the room, buy the room was spacious and comfortable and we had access to a kitchen that was shared with guests in 2 other rooms."

"Very remote village. The only(?) restaurant in town is the hotel restaurant. Good location to stopover and cut my drive from Geiranger back to Alesund in half. Hotel is nice. Good breakfast in the morning. "

"Front desk staff is very helpful. My husband's ankle was strained. Front desk lady was helping us to call doctor and provided us ice and pain killer. My husband and I are really appreciate her great help. "

"Nice views and balcony. Very walkable. Hotel is a little outdated. We were told there was free parking at time of booking and then when we got there was told that changed and was now about $50/day usd. Staff was very friendly and they accommodated us with a baby crib! "

The staff was exceptional in every way, the rooms beautiful and well equipped, and the architecture stunning, The prevalence of wood everywhere added warmth and an eco-friendly atmosphere. "
