"My companion and I really enjoyed the location. It did take a few minutes to find our room, but once in we were able to relax. A few items to mention: the door lock to Ponderosa does not seem to lock securely. And, I did encounter some cockroaches, which we were able to dispatch without much problem ..."

"Branded Calf is a treasure of a B&B. Hostess Connie is a treasure trove of advice about the area and serves a wonderful breakfast. Our room was comfortable and spacious. B&B is only 30 minutes from entrance to Kings Canyon NP. Highly Recommend!"

Great alternative to the overpriced lodges in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, and a better experience. Great place to stay near the entrance to the parks before spending an entire weekend driving and hiking through the parks themselves.
