Your up north getaway starts here! Cozy 2 bedroom / 1 bath cottage on the south side of Hubbard Lake. Full kitchen, spacious living room, queen bed in one room, full bed in 2nd. Knotty pine throughout -gives a nice up-north rustic vibe! Private, wooded setting and only a short walk down the hill to the lake. Perfect for year-round fun! Enjoy all the area has to offer - swimming, boating, fishing (driveway provides room for boat/trailer) and golf in the summer; hunting and color tours in fall; snow mobiling/ice fishing in winter. DNR boat launch within 1 mile of cottage. White Pine Golf Course, and area restaurants within 1-2 miles. Gas, grocery and convenience stores within 10 miles, and Alpena is only a 1/2 hour away. This place was in a perfect location for an up north getaway! My wife and I stayed for a few days and there was plenty to do in that area. The cabin was cozy and clean and Deb kept intouch with us. Would recommend and come back.

Cute Cabin and Excellent Location!!
This cabin is cozy and cute. Big enough for a family of 3 or 4, and super comfortable. It is in a great location, with access to driving around to see many different things. The area and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful. The woods behind and around the cabin are nice, you are not closely located to anyone else.

Perfect get away
We wanted a quiet place to see some of Northern Michigan. This fit our needs. Deer and other wildlife nearly walked up to the back door. We could have cooked, but we found a variety good food at local restaurants. Relaxing stay.

This is a perfect little quaint setting of a cottage in a wooded setting
A perfect little place for four or less guests. Great location for anyone boating, ATV's, winter snowmobiling or fishing. A short walk downhill to beautiful Lake Hubbard. Debbie is also a fantastic host, very good communicator. The cottage has all the little necessities available. Enjoy your next stay here and book with confidence.

Perfect Place for a Quiet Getaway!
Welcoming, homey cabin with everything we needed and more. Tidy property with a nice picnic table and deck, fire ring, and firewood. The kitchen was well appointed, and the bathroom was clean. Every window had blinds, and they all worked! A few references were on hand to provide us with ideas for day trips and good meals. No overbearing rulebooks, and the WiFi password was in plain sight. There are curtains, not doors, providing privacy in the bedrooms. This was not a problem for us and added to the charm. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfect up north cozy cabin
Exactly what we needed for a 3 night stay up north. 3 adult men stayed in this location, and with the pull out couch we all had our own beds. Everything was clean, the owner was easy to communicate with, and we'd stay there again without hesitation.

Great stay!
Classic up north cabin. Had a nice stay for a wedding in town. The only thing to note is that there are curtains not doors on the bedroom - not a problem just something to know.
