Newly Remodeled Aframe - Pet Friendly

A Peace of Paris is a cool, cozy A-frame house just down the road (150 yards) from Kentucky Lake with a rock boat ramp. We are dog friendly! Plenty of land to park your boat/vehicles. It's 5 minutes from Paris Landing State Park and 2 minutes from Buchanan Marina/Eagle Creek Campground where you can launch your boat, or rent boats/kayaks.

We completed a master suite addition to the A-Frame in 2022. This first floor addition includes a King bedroom, full bath and laundry. The house has unlimited high speed wi-fi, and 4 tv's. The upstairs has one bedroom with a queen bed, and the second with a double and a twin. The stairs are pretty steep. The original cabin has been fully renovated within the last 2 years and has a delightful screened in gazebo (with heater for cold nights), where you can relax enjoy drinking your coffee in the morning, as well and enjoying family time at night. Want to do some cooking? We have all the amenities, including both a charcoal and gas grill. We have added a lot of board games for some indoor family fun.

A-frames are just fun places to stay in on a vacation. It is comfortable, more room than you think and all the essentials you need to enjoy time away. We have a fire pit to use under the stars, camp chairs and lounge chairs to use for kicking back and enjoying the view. We are not fancy but we try to think of everything you might need to relax, fish, read, sleep!

We are just minutes away from the area's main attractions including, fishing, boating, hunting, golfing and dining. A local Dollar General is close by for those items you may have forgotten, and has a large grocery section. There are also several wonderful restaurants nearby.

Special note for Pets: We really want to remain dog friendly for our lake house so we have a few rules that MUST be followed. No more than 2 dogs and under 50 lbs, must stay off furniture and beds, must be kenneled when alone, and poop in the yard much be discarded. No exceptions to these rules, or the damage deposit will be forfeited. Thank you in advance for following these.

Great cozy getaway at KY lake!
Great location and super cozy cabin . It was within walking distance to the lake with great access. I loved the screened in Patio! It was very relaxing.

Spring Break
The A-Frame was perfect. The view was amazing. The kitchen and baths were fully furnished, it was clean, an all around great get away place. We booked it in February and was looking forward to starting our spring break there. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely would recommend and also plan to go back in the near future.

Great little triangle house!!
Our grandchildren call this A-frame house, the triangle house. We always have a fun time there, close to the lake and having a Dollar Store five minutes away, works well if you forgot anything. We brought kayaks and a golf cart, and the extra lot beside the house made it easy to park the trailer. We will be back, for the money it’s a great place to stay.

A Frame Adventure
Fun escape for a couple days. Only disappointment was the waterfront is all clay and you can't really enjoy the water like we thought. Bring a boat, Kayaks, or canoe and it would be great. If you want to run and play with your dogs in the water, go to Grays Landing on the other side of the bridge. It's gravel and lots of room for the dogs, and you, to swim! Also has a boat launch that's less crowded. Had a great stay! Thanks guys!

Cute, updated little cabin close to lake
We had a great trip. Below is my honest review with great, good and ok. Great: 1. Very cute, updated cabin with extremely comfortable beds. 2. Tons of provided amenities (dishes, cookware, spices, crock pots, coffee maker and coffee, and even baby gates and pack and play if needed. 3. Very cozy space with outdoor hangout area and about 10 minutes from attractions. 4. Awesome communication from owners! 5. Pet friendly but very well cleaned and no sign of previous pets. Good 1. Close to lake, but not particular appealing section of the lake during winter pool. Not a good location for fishing during this time of year. Probably great in the summer. 2. Firepit area is nice but is kind of out in the open. Ok 1. Surrounded by lots of other cabins/trailers/other. In a pretty dense neighborhood. Privacy average. 2. There are 2 ring cameras. The one on the front of the house is fine, but the one in the backyard feels a little intrusive. I understand the need to keep an eye on the property, but especially at night having the camera flash on everytime you move meant we didnt spend as much time out there. Overall enjoyed our stay a lot and wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

I couldn’t have been any happier with this adorable cabin. Everything was beyond my expectations. This was the perfect place to be while we were visiting friends. It was extremely clean & stocked with everything from shampoo to board games & even outdoor games. I highly recommend this sweet cabin. I can’t forget all of the deer we saw in the neighborhood. They were beautiful!!!

Relaxing Stay
We were so thankful to arrive at such a lovely property. There was plenty of room and it was very relaxing. The attention to detail when it came to basic needs was beyond expectations. The location was tucked back by the lake and though the neighborhood itself seemed a little drab, it was safe and I’m sure would have been more visually appealing if we wouldn’t have had so much rain. The property owners were quick to respond to any needs we had and were pleasant in our interactions. Overall, this was one of the more relaxing home experiences we’ve had and we’d certainly try to reserve this home again.
