"This is a Motel, not a Hotel. No food service, no drink service, no room service, park at your door. It’s a Motel. Rooms are ageing and pretty sad. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and bed linen was spotless and nicely starched but everything else about this place was disappointing. We won’t stay here again. "

"we just stayed for one night but this place was exactly what we needed. functional & they’ve thought of everything. it’s an older style motel, but they don’t pretend to be anything else. very comfy bed, aircon was strong, shower head was powerful. we arrived quite late and did late check in. we had some confusion (which was on us) about rooms, and the owner/worker (i think his name was Jamie) answered the phone out of working hours and quickly, easily, and politely help us solve the issue. would stay here again! "

"A lovely little gem of a motel. The rooms are a great size, comfy, with a fridge, toaster, microwave and tea & coffee. To top it off, there’s a pool with communal BBQs. The manager was friendly and really helpful, and sorted us out a late check out with no problem. There is an Italian restaurant on site (separately managed) which the food was amazing! With that had been open more. Lyndoch is great place to stay, and only a 1hr drove from Adelaide airport"

"It was a joy pure old school service and hospitality from the moment we arrived I have disabilities and special dietary needs we noticed there was a fridge but no microwave so I asked at the office and the reply was no problem would you like a toaster and plates and cutlery? Ten minutes later an employee knocked on the door and voila everything they promised and later my wife who was seeing the river murray for the first time went for a walk I sat in the cafe watching through the glass wall and enjoyed a cold adult beverage and chatted with the manager at first glance this is an older property but don't drive past they do it right"
