Retreat by the water
We had a great stay here. 2 nice areas to chill out. Beds were comfy. 3 toilets worked out great. About 20-60 minutes away from everything we wanted to see. The hosts were very easy to get in touch with and very helpful with recommendations.

Fantasy get away
The house is very spacious and accommodating. We loved our stay! The owners were so kind and helpful. They really went above and beyond for us. The water level was high a few day prior to our stay and they made sure we were aware and updated us often on everything. We throughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time there.

Morn on the Bayou
Our group of ten used this property for a home base for experiencing New Orleans, swamp tours and meals at Middendorfs in Manchac, Dons Seafood in Hammond, antiquing in Ponchatoula and everything else we could see in four short days. The property was in excellent shape and very clean and well equipped. Our host provided all the info about the area as it is off the beaten path but in a quiet neighborhood and close to a couple of small towns. Information to make our stay great was provided digitally and on site. We appreciated all of her recommendations. The property was great for our group and provided outdoor options on the water and in front of a fountain, with a fire pit that was very inviting. We were there during perfect weather and with a full moon above so it made for some great memories. We had several in our group that had never visited Louisiana before so they are leaving with some wonderful images and feelings. Thanks for making our visit so nice.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. The canal being right there and all the options for hanging out on the property were perfect. The house was clean and had EVERYTHING you could need for your stay. The owners were attentive and wonderful to work with. My only regret is due to everything we had going on during our trip we didn’t get to spend as much time at the property as I would have liked given how beautiful it was!
