We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was much bigger than we all were anticipating, with plenty of room for us to sit in the living room or around the dining table for 8 of us. Really nice house, beautiful setting, wish we had more time to spend out by the fire pit. Would definitely recommend.
Rented house for my dad's 72 birthday Bourbon trip. The house and property were amazing. We had 10 people and this place was perfect. The house had everything and was very clean. It was also close to many distilleries which was the reason we were there. The owners were very quick to respond to my questions.I would highly recommend this this property.
This place is beautiful. The property, the ponds, the house, the outdoor bar, the outdoor seating areas (both firepit and dining) are excellent. The location off the Bourbon Trail is not perfect and even though it's an hour ride to Louisville and Lexington, it's still a very pretty and fast ride (we did it every day with no complaints). The town of Springfield was not all that but Bardstown certainly was (must go). The hosts could not have been nicer and would have been there as needed, but we really did not need them. Great Time. Great Experience. Thank you.
We stayed with 4 other couples for my husband's 50th birthday. The property was great. We loved the outside bar area! So many laughs were had out by the fire. Melynda and Andy were the best! They were easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make the trip special! I would definitely recommend them and their property to anyone!
We spent a long weekend visiting the Bourbon Trail. This place was perfect for breakfast in the morning and chilling in the evening. Beautiful and spacious inside and out!! One of our top favorite vrbo’s!!
Our stay was great! The house had everything we needed and was well equipped. It was beautifully decorated! We had one minor problem, but the host was very responsive and resolved the problem quickly. I would highly recommend this house! We loved our visit to Limestone Distillery which was a short drive from the house.
The property is fantastic! 4 couples had an amazing time, awesome fire pit and outside bar, caught fish in the lakes, rooms were so comfortable, master suite was off the hook, and then an awesome bourbon trail day with the owners private bus service. We will be back!!!!
all four couples had a won’t wonderful time. plenty of room and the bed where very comfortable. the home was decorated beautifully. would stay again.
thanks andy for your hospitality.
We are a party of 8 (4 couples). The property is as beautiful as advertised. The house and accommodations were great. It is a bit out in the country but beautiful scenery. I most definitely recommend this for a group size like ours. And you can’t beat the outside bldg bar with a big screen tv next to the pond.
Super easy in and out - right in the middle of everything! Wish it wasn't as hot so we could take more advantage of the outdoor space but thats on the weather not on this listing! They have a ton of cool things to do outside! Could not recommend them more, super clean, AC worked great and communication was perfect. Thank you for making our family trip hassle free!
I cannot recommend this property highly enough! We stayed 5 days with a group of 3 couples. The home was spacious, clean, and looked exactly like the pictures. The location was excellent to explore bourbon country, and we also spent a morning at mammoth cove. Andy and Melynda were easy to get ahold of and extremely helpful and easy to get ahold of, and having fire wood on site we could purchase was super convenient. We loved the outside bar and firepit, and watched some beautiful sunsets fireside. We would absolutely stay here again.
We stayed for three nights with 2 additional couples. Lots of space and could have easily accommodated 2 additional couples. Three full bathrooms was awesome so each couple had their own bathroom. The outdoor spaces are amazing! We really enjoyed the patio. No neighbors nearby so very quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was wonderful and check in could not have been any easier. Very clean property. The photos are very accurate.
We truly enjoyed this property! The home was clean and was in a perfect setting. We enjoyed the outside bar facility and playing corn hole when we were not on one of our tours. My only negative is if you want specific toilet papers for septic, and that is great, then you should supply and have extra supplies there. Other than that everything was perfect!
This was a great property for us. Centrally located to all we wanted to do including visits to Louisville for Churchill Downs, Valhalla and the Slugger museum; to a day trip to Mammoth Caves and several stops along the bourbon trail. If you're doing the bourbon trail, don't forget to do the Kentucky Cooperage ISV in Lebanon, KY. One of the best stops on our trip and came as a recommendation when we visited Wild Turkey.
The King bedroom and bath is massive. The second King is next to it, and guests walk across the kitchen to a jack and jill bath that shares with the other queen bedroom. The final queen bedroom has its own bath. Understanding this configuration would have helped us a bit, so that's why I'm sharing. We didn't use the loft bedroom upstairs but it had a floor fan so I thought that would be useful.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We didn't really cook much here except breakfast. The charcoal bbq is like the one you'd find at a public park. Not really our speed, but there were briquets in the shed. We didn't use the firepit or the shed bar. We were always on the run, but it was nice to have it there.
Best thing was the fishing poles. The guys in our group loved it and fished every morning and evening. Caught and released over a dozen fish and they had a blast doing it.
This is a beautiful property and house. It’s spacious and well stocked. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. Highly recommend

Just missed the Mark.
This could be a five star rental. It is a spacious house in a peaceful setting with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The outdoor area, with the outdoor bar, TV and covered outdoor eating table with chairs, was great to come back to after a fun day of distillery touring.
With that being said, the house was dirty. Inside every kitchen cabinet, bathroom cabinet, and furniture drawers was dust and dirt. The floors were so dirty that I had to take my socks off before I got into bed the first night.
Not sure why this rental is not being cleaned properly or if the owners are aware of what a deep cleaning it needs, but it is very sad because the house could be an exceptional rental.
Here are some things that this rental is lacking : No oven mitts found. No kitchen towels could be found. More bathroom linen needed. Bed linen were either poor quality or old. They were very pilled and had hair clinging to them . Need more trash cans inside and outside. Example in Master bath near sinks.
This home and property was the perfect place for our Bourbon Trail weekend. Situated on a lovely, secluded piece of property, this clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated place had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals and we really enjoyed the outdoor bar area!
We had a great time at this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Beautiful home and comfortable beds. We had a group of 10 friends hanging out by the fire pit all night long and the outdoor bar area was so cool! We brought our own firewood but they do have firewood available at the property that you could leave cash for. In the morning you can sit out front and drink your coffee looking over the pond and watching the sunrise. The property owners were very responsive be and flexible with us. Highly recommend!
