Great Location for Work & Play, King Master Suite

FOX TRAIL COTTAGE - Modern & Stylish, convenient location---you will be just 5 minutes from restaurants, Bass Pro, MSU, Wonders of Wildlife, Battlefield Mall, and more. Just a block away from the Whiteside Medical Building at Mercy Hospital Complex. Several parks and the Springfield Art Museum are close by too.

The vaulted ceiling and open floor plan make it comfortable for your group to eat and be entertained together but each BR also has its own TV for some time away.

Vaulted Ceiling and long Kitchen Bar and counter space make laying out your groceries, serving your family, or just setting up your laptop for work- EASY. Open floor plan kitchen/living room has lots of seating with some comfy recliner couch seats. Warm decorating scheme makes it feel cozy for your enjoyable stay. Tvs in all BRs and LR. Kick back on the back porch under the big tree.

This is a newer style house nestled into a neighborhood of newer/older houses. Lots are small, but this house has a double car driveway in which 4 cars can be parked. Street parking is limited due to mailbox and fire hydrant location. Single Car Garage stall fits 1 medium size SUV. Some trucks may not fit inside garage due to length.

I am a local and can give assistance by phone or text. There is a Smart Lock at front door for easy self check-in.

Convenient to shopping and house is situated near 4 major roads of Springfield. Older neighborhood with a mix of newer and older homes. Lots of single car driveways on this street so you will see cars parked on street.

The driveway should fit 4 average sized vehicles. There is limited street parking because of a fire hydrant & lots of mailboxes along the road. Please park in driveway.

1 King Bed (master BR), 1 Queen Bed (2nd BR), 1 Queen Bed (3rd BR). TVs in all BR's and in Living Room. Wifi.
I expect guests to act like adults and to be respectful of neighbors.
1. All guests & vehicles must be registered (let us know how many).
2. No pets! No animals accompanying visitors either.
2. Trash dumpster is provided. Please use it to dispose of trash at end of stay.
3. Do not park on street if possible.
4. No smoking or vaping indoors/in garage or at OPEN doors. Cigarettes must be disposed of properly (that means not on the ground for others to pickup). $1000 fee for indoor smoking.
5. No major moving of furniture.
6. Its a great town! Go have some fun!

Great place to stay in Springfield
Centrally located to the places we wanted to visit: Missouri State Campus, Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium, Bass Pro Shop. The house is well maintained, very clean, and has everything we needed for a great visit! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay while on vacation.

Very Satisfied!
We were in town for our Granddaughter’s wedding and the house was in a perfect location for all of the activities. Aimee was great in communicating with us prior to our stay, during the stay and following the stay! The house was ready when we arrived with easy check-in. Beds were comfortable as well as living areas. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

Coming Home
My wife and I was back in Springfield to visit family and close friends. We were looking for a property that was central located and that we could invite family and friends over for daily visits. This property met all our needs and expectations. Host was very easy to communicate with and we had no issues during our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

MSU Graduation
This home was perfect for our family which included two octogenarians. Our daughter was graduating from MSU. We were able to relax and spread out. Our daughter’s car was packed with valuables and we were able to keep it in the garage. Would definitely recommend this property.

Nice stay in Springfield
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space and it was well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the common area was nice for hanging out. The deck only accommodates 2-3 people so it would be nice if it was larger. One item that would've been appreciated is filtered water. The tap water was not potable. We would consider staying here in the future.

My children came here to see their Papa on his 97th birthday. He (my dad) is also on hospice, so this will likely be the last time they will see him. A very emotional and wonderful time!

Floors
We did overall really enjoy are stay. The only complaint would be how incredibly dirty the floors are. We tried to keep our granddaughters shoes on her, however shes 1 lol. So, with that we had to constantly wash her feet. I noticed there was wet mop pads under the sink so i tried cleaning them up. When i went through 2 of the pads and the floor was still dirty I stopped so i wouldn't use all the pads.

Adequate But Not Awesome
The location was good since the house is in the middle of town. However, the neighborhood isn’t great. The house feels like a flip that has been upgraded just enough to turn into a VRBO. The toilets are short, the kitchen counter is broken, the paint job is terrible. So if you’re looking for a really nice place, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a basic house in the middle of Springfield, this house will do.

Queen beds have just a little more Cush than sleeping on the floor. Walls are thin. The house was clean and living room was comfortable. We had enough supplies to stay for a few days, but for shampoo/conditioner. Tiny hotel size in each bathroom. I felt like I was being reminded too much of the check out time - kinda felt like an unwanted guest. Daughter appreciated the pack ‘n play. We didn’t use the deck or yard.

Change in property location
When we got to Springfield we realized the property had been doubled booked. Aimee quickly found us a comparable property and we had a great weekend in Springfield. Aimee was very quick to help us, apologized for the mix-up (altho it wasn’t her fault) and made sure everything about the new property was to our liking and met our needs. I appreciate Aimee’s willingness to help rectify the situation. My review is of the other property because the form would not let me skip the star-ratings. Thank you Aimee.
