"Honestly as soon as I got there I knew I had made a good choice. Then I stepped into the cabin and knew I had made an excellent choice. It’s by far the cleanest place Ive stayed. I went looking for peace and quiet and I got just that. It’s silent, it’s beautiful, it’s private. Even though it’s deep winter I still got to hang in the barn, feed the animals, go on quiet hikes. "The layout of the house was really nice. 4 upstairs bedrooms and the loft, which has 2 queen mattresses. The kitchen was well stocked. The property was fun for the kids to play in the snow and the drive to the mountain wasn’t bad, especially if you take the sky ship lift. If the property had been well cleaned before our arrival it would deserve an excellent rating, but it wasn’t and had some very dirty areas. "

"We traveled to NH to see the ice castles and have a mini winter cabin experience and this fit the bill perfectly. All the comforts of home but also that rustic feel. No Verizon cell signal is nice for a change - but WiFi keeps you from being stranded too. Thanks for a great place to stay! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. "We went up to this area to do some skiing at Mount Sunapee. This cottage is close to the mountain, We wanted a dog friendly listing. This was perfect for our 3 labs and their crates and 3 adults.
