Ok for the price just not clean.
The description is accurate but does not do justice to the roughness of the road. It was sufficient for a weekend getaway but it was not cleaned adequately. You could tell from the smell that animals have been there, it was not overpowering but it was noticeable. The a/c return was covered with hair and dust. The counters had sticky cup spots suggesting they had not been cleaned. The toughest part was the beds had hairs all over the pillows and on the linens causing concern they were only made and not washed. The location served its purpose and would have been ok if it was cleaner.

Nice
Clean, functional property. A little challenging to get through mud when raining. Nice view of golf course when the sun was out. Cute potential. Good overall.

Property was great! Very peaceful location and great view from back porch. The rough road was only a short part of the road to get to property

Midlanders loved the Caddyshack!
Very clean, smelled great, the dogs loved the fenced back yard. I haven’t seen the Big Dipper in years. The golf course is beautiful. Would stay here again.

If you are not picky and just go for few days to do something is good. Or if you feel to reach these is not for you. But for the price is good. We like it we just used to sleep. The place to stay is good. The bad. Is the road to get to the house, that's it. In total we like it.

Caddyshack Property
It was mediocre accommodations. Road to property is terrible at best, which was addressed in the description, but it was even worse than expected; especially with rain runoff from hard rains. Needs to be repaired badly! Could only go approximately 5 mph because of fear of damage to my vehicle. Stayed at Hampton Inn in Bulverde the first two nights of our reservation because I didn’t feel good about outlying area; waited til my husband could accompany me back to the property for the last two nights of our reservation for safety precautions. Small details like no towel bars in either bathroom, thermostat couldn’t be adjusted & no tv’s or ceiling fans in two of the three bedrooms was aggravating. Ceiling fan in master bedroom never got above a very slow speed which did not cool room at all. Property is in dire need of some updating. People I dealt with on the phone were friendly, but sadly could not offer any kind of compensation, therefore I would not stay here again. I spent money for additional accommodations for the first two nights @ Hampton Inn because of the condition of property plus the full amount of the reservation for four nights at this property. Live and learn, I guess...

Cautionary tale
Clicked book now = 175/night After confirmed and additional charges = 260/night Be warned, if you have pets and even if not, the location is meh, the actual property is meh, and the additional charges AFTER committing to booking are UGH!! The neighbors dogs are aggressive and noisy, not just barking. If you want to be nickel and dimed AFTER committing to booking then click away.

Very secluded
We had a nice stay but property was a bit a ways from civilization. A bit further than what we're used to. Not much to do unless you drive into Wimberley and neighboring towns. Doubt we'll be back again, but overall it was a comfy stay.
