The Sprague Motel offers great value for money. It has a sweet, old-fashioned feel but at the same time, the rooms appear to have been recently modernized. Everything was very clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable, and the manager, Rose, was very accommodating and kind. We enjoyed a quick drive along the main road of the town before we hopped back on the freeway, and felt like we had turned the hands back on time. We would definitely stay here again if we were passing through the area.

Check in was easy and quick. Staff was friendly and personable. Room was large. A/C worked well and was quiet. I was looking for an overnight stop on my way home. This place fit the bill perfectly. The nearby restaurant, The Viking, was excellent as well.

Needed a spot to stay briefly on our way south. Pulled in late, and they had a lockbox ready with our keys as we had called ahead. Room was clean, a little dated, but great value!

Pretty nice motel in a VERY small town. Just made it to dinner before the only restaurant closed early evening. Convenient location.

The walls are paper-thin and I could clearly hear the men next door talking until 10:30 and again at 5:00am. They were not overly loud, the walls are just not insulated. A train blew its horn as it went by about every hour. The AC unit did not work and there were a variety of insects in my room. I had the crouch to get under the shower head and I am only 5’3”. At 7:15am someone unlocked my door and tried to come in but I had the hook secured. I had to get up to close the door all the way as they left it open a few inches. I reserved the room based on the ratings of 8.0, but I would not give it more than a 2.
